Please give us a response about restoring our levels???

The responses are the same. There are just more words in the later one so it's a little harder to see the substance.

One says no, the other says no unless we change their minds. While I would be fairly surpise to see level reinstated in chat, a small possibility is better than none. Obviously, I am not happy with either of those responses.

I'd say that what Marika meant is that, we don't currently have plans to bring back the level in chat, BUT we are considering your huge feedback amount of feedback and discussing all possibilities, meaning that it could still be changed for the next update, but that nothing has quite been decided yet on this subject.

Those weren't the phrases I was referring to, but whatever. The bottom line is that while I hope for levels to be brought back, I somewhat doubt it happening.

Honestly it's hard to imagine a more irrelevant number than village level. It served a purpose in motivating CC donations but with the donation tracker no longer serves any purpose I can discern. It's a poor marker of either village strength or town halls destroyed which as far as I know are the only other contributors. Looking at the village for five seconds will tell you far more about its defensive strength than looking at the number in the blue box.

I don't know if their league system will ultimately be successful, but I hope it will be because I think it would make the game better. I don't think the system works right now which is likely fueling some of the unhappiness given that village level is being replaced by a badge which seems meaningless to large portions of the forum. But I'd rather have them invest effort in making the league system work than rolling back the badges. A working league system is better for everyone.

I don't think people are upset with the league system, I know I'm not at least. I love the idea of smaller leaderboards, but my problem comes in when they remove the level # itself. It is most definatly NOT irrelevant in thee least bit. It serves a purpose, it shows people they you are a "good" player, that a good clan would like to pick up. It also serves the purpose of showing potential recruits that YOU are a "good" player, and increase the likelyhood of them joining you. Te other issue at play here isn't the inability to see levels, because you can still see them, the problem comes in when a higher level player begins to get mauled on global, those few seconds it takes now to see their level, they could have been picked up by some clan that doesn't mind level at all. I think that's why ppl are upset. I know that's why I am at least.
