    As a web developer I've noticed that the engine this forum runs on, along with 98% of other forums in existence just have a bad search feature on their forums.


    It really isn't Supercells fault. It's whatever libraries they are using to create their forums search feature.


    You will have better results by creating a query in Google (without the brackets): [ "site:forum.supercell.net" + search term ]

    What is Supercell's fault is the loot - however Steve showed that they're working at it. Which is very promising for me to hear as a player. I think the extra collector (notice, singular for each type) should be up for additional consideration now that there is an extra mortar.








    PS: Daddy - Junior would have a hard time trying to loot me. Just saiyan.

    I definitely use Google's search feature before this one. However I've seen much better functioning forums using the same technology.

    Another mortar and a collector and mine would be worse than why they didn't do the extras before. They didn't want extra collectors getting in the way of percentages for destruction. Now they've added an additional defense so more buildings would be further down this path. I could go for a collector permanent boost and another level personally. As well as achievements for maxing them because I'm sick of seeing scrubs in matchmaking with level fives

    Idk, I'm sure it's useful, I'm just not that keen on using it. I'm not exactly sure what someone would have worded their post as. I tried looking for "stats" and got everything from "new stats" to "I want to see the actual mortar damage stats". When I tried "Statistics" I got *basically* "I want to see more player statistics". Didn't find anything on loot. I spose I'll keep playing with it though...

    I honestly don't know. Try loot, nexts, trophy, as keywords. Honestly 7500 + posts are just too much.

    Do you not see a pendulum for Supercell, now swinging back and forth? Both ends are bad. On one end, too many defensive buildings. That breaks a game. No one can raid anything. On the other end, too many nondefensive buildings, including collectors. That's the situation we have now. They want to avoid the former pendulum swing at all costs.


    Honestly, the game is quite balanced with respect to EVERYTHING but loot in my eyes. You have an exception in the poor valkyrie, but this game is absurdly balanced compared to other games.




    I see where their difficulty lies, and I'm happy with Steve's post. I just wish Supercell made more posts / made the community more involved in this process which so directly affects them.



    WRT-better functioning forums - can you please provide examples? Admittedly, I'm asking for my own personal sake, it doesn't really effect this loot discussion. I legitimately want to see better examples on this same engine for benefit of my own personal knowledge,, so PM if you have to.

    Now now ... I never said supercell wasn't hypocritical lol. I didn't say I agreed with percentage being added with a defensive building but ruling out non defensive buildings haha.

    The scrubs in matchmaking with level 5's are also helping to make loot terrible. They don't have to upgrade their pumps because they are finding loot just being active and raiding (and it takes dayssss to upgrade them for such little gain). Each scrub is one more person taking loot out of the game @ 100K an hour (50k each resource... guesstimate), and only bringing in like 10k an hour (level 5 pumps are sad, mmk?). still though, NO pumps currently bring loot in @ 100k an hour, and so loot is always going to be dry if we (as clashers as a whole) stay at the current level of activity that we are at (the game is fun, and I wanna play it) with mainly pumps bringing loot into the game...

    Not that I wouldn't mind an upgrade to pumps anyways, it just won't fix the problem. =d

    The bigger, more overarching problem is that any sort of little "fix" people, including myself, have suggested is that they have no long term value on this game. I, personally, have suggested an additional collector to all Th7+, and an additional level of collector to TH8+. Problem is that won't even fix this issue.



    The "real problem" behind this situation is that the vast majority of players have either RETIRED or have learned how to minimize their resource losses - which inevitably ends up being spending all of your available resources into walls.



    The obvious strategy is this: any upgrade that costs more than 1Million gold/elixer, do inside the realms of Silver III and Gold II. Anything above, just put your resources into your walls.




    Everyone knows this now. Rob gold/elixer in silver-III-gold-II, and rob your dark elixer in GoldI-Crystal-I. Everyone knows this........so the loot is broken
