As a heavy donator for my clan (63k so far), I was excited to finally max my TH9 so I could upgrade and get the TH10 troops for my clan. I even have a $100 credit ready to buy gems to accelerate troop research. However, the rate for acquiring elixir is so slow at TH10, there's no point in speeding the research along. So no point in buying gems. I have no intention of spending gems on elixir. I even pushed myself up in trophy level to get the better bonus, but that just requires more elixir to build my army so it pretty much washes out. So the sooner Supercell fixes this economy issue they created, the sooner they can get my money. If they wait too long I'll no longer need to accelerate troop research.
I'm sure my $100 is a drop in the bucket compared to the huge amounts they take in as a result of this change, but if enough people stop buying gems until they fix it, they might actually do it.
At this point, even if they did show hints of them trying to fix it I wouldn't give them a dime. This company has lost my trust. I have no idea if they will make some boneheaded move after a step in the right direction, and that's what's done it for me. Lost the clanmates I've played with, lost my ability to farm and progress, and I'm sure SC has to know by now that anything they do try and improve for TH9/10s is too little, but mainly too late to recoup any gem purchasing from those players.
They have their new income stream with the new generation of players, and that's fine, and it will last for a while, and then for their own sakes hopefully they'll have developed a new game to repeat the cycle over again. The sad part of all this is that there seemed to be so many tangible adjustments to how the loot system worked so that it could sustain farming (and long-term playability) at high levels. It was a conscious decision for SC not to explore those options.
I really wish Clash did something like Boom Beach's Dr Terror missions. Twice a week there are 20 stages of bases that you fight through that get harder and hard while the loot increases per level. Would give players a chance to finally find some loot with a challenge of beating a hard base and not a challenge of how long they can tolerate hitting next.
Loot is worse than ever ,surely you should be trying to fix this not make it worse ,getting toooo boring now ,game used to be fun ,now dont know what you going to come on to logged on tonight after 40 mins of nextin gave up ,another night not worth playing your game.......pleasssssse fix this we cant all be wrong
You've added loot storage & collect ability to the Clan Castle, why not give the Clan Castle the additional feature of generating all three loots that have to be collected on a regular basis to make room for the war loot.
If you're really concerned about the state of the economy, this really would be an easy fix. You could do this or simply make the existing mines and pumps more effective with higher rate.
The economy is real bad from my vantage point and has been so for several months.
Heres to waiting and hoping you guys take action.
