I got tired of searching in Gold III to I and Crystal II to I for hours! a decent base to raid. I cooked a GoWiPe army along with spells almost 300K worth of elixir and next'd for hours looking for a decent 250K gold n elixir raid and failed miserably. All I got offered was a barch base with 90K gold & elixir and this is disgusting in my opinion. Get your stuff together super cell. I know whining here like a ♥♥♥♥♥ won't solve anything but at least you know THERE IS a problem with loot.

Hey guy's, I search the net after a few bad day's of finding next to no loot and found this forum.

Let me introduce myself first. My ign is PloX , lvl 87 , th9 with skull walls. So Hi....

I think I can safely assume that with almost 700 pages on the subject of bad loot, nothing I say will be new. I see myself as a casual gamer and feel your pain for those that invested heavily into the game.

With normal raids I tend to go with 16 giants, 64 barbs 64 archers, 6 wb, aq and bk and with 1 heal spell. +/- 114k elixir in total. So I tend to search for bases that will cover my troops and to make some kind of profit. Sadly I wasted 100k gold today trying to find 1 to make ends meet. Lol I guess you guys know the feeling..... you nexting so much that you just keep on going with the believe the next one will be THE BIG ONE. I found only 1 base with 247k gold and 184k elixir.... but the guy was a lvl 126 with a too good a base for my raiding troops. Guess he dropped trophies to see if he can find better loot.

So frankly I don't see how we are suppose to upgrade our bases when the gold you get from raiding hardly cover your "nexting" cost and the elixir just replace your troops. Using cheaper troops like pure barching maybe but with the added 4th mortar that will be suicide.

Seems like the dev's want to force you to gem your base IF you want to have a competitive base for your league. No way you can upgrade it with raiding with what the loot is these last few day's. Btw today with 133 nexting I found not a single inactive base. Seems they completely took them all out.

I try to keep my average raids to 200 per season and I like to farm in the g3-g1 range.

So I assume you're buying gems? By boosted session, I assume you mean all 4 barracks. That's 200-240 gems per day, which isn't sustainable on obstacles.


So basically you're saying "loot is good if you can play 9+ hours per day and spend $10-$20 a week. Right.

the best way to play Clash of Clans these days is to turn off your ipad/phone and do something that isn't Clash if Clans. No sarcasm, I entirely accept this position. 600+ pages of forum gamers essentially agreeing that raiding is not really worthwhile. Yes, loot can be gained if you're willing to spend hours finding it. Never used to be like this.

I doubt SC are paying any attention at all, so can this thread be closed now?

I spend my days raiding to fund wars that aren't well matched anymore.
When im not on for 5 minutes, i get raided by a L10 TH with maxed troops... for ALL the NET loot (that SC makes available to them, which i thought was supposed to be significantly reduced) that i just obtained from 5 raids.

So, its not worth it. no one has 3 starred me in weeks, but they can get my loot. no way really to prevent that from armies of L5-6,7 troops. now is there? its surrounded by splashers and L9 archers, L9 cannons (that always wipe my L5 troops out pretty fast)

Even with a L4 dragon in my castle + 5 L6 or 7 archers, or five L6 wizards (those are too easy to kill and they hesitate when firing their weapon).

I clear 5 items off the property and get 6 gems out of 5 items. now im outta gems.

so. its not worth my time anymore when i cant upgrade troops or defenses.

yes, whining, but its legitimate reason. games are supposed to be fun, this one WAS fun. But its half my clan saying the same thing. so it isnt just me or a few. I think the only people who are still able to play & have fun are the ones spending actual cash on gems. The ones in our clan who spend money, are not having a difficult time finding large sums of loot every outting. The ones who are not spending cash are not finding bases to loot. At least not unless they spend 75K in gold, 35 minutes of time searching, or once every 3 days find one that has 250,000-300K of each. I have only had 4 fully abandoned bases in the last 12 days (and that aint hurting no one when they stop playing to take their loot, they decided not to use). Or im finding MANY abandoned bases that have already been raided recently and don't even have 100K in each resource. Otherwise the bases in my searches are between 2000 (no typo) and 98,000. I mean 20 minutes of those with the average being around 35,000 (♥♥♥♥ at that amount)... or on a base i cant possibly 2 star, or one that has plenty of loot that i cant get to because somehow my troops mysteriously became as weak as a level 2 troop against defenses that im used to fighting.

I even watched a replay from one of my clan-mates where the Archers STOPPED attacking the TownHall and went to do other things. never getting the Town hall. There was no defenses getting them. They just got tired of shooting it i guess and went to another part of the village to shoot. Hey, maybe they ran out of arrows? or had a hole in their quivers? Something tho, That was weird. So, dont tell me everything's the same.

When i TRY and stay on so i don't get raided, i get kicked off for 8 minutes. apparently it is NOT difficult to find my farming base to those TownHallers of 9 and 10 maxed out who i cannot compete with.

When i try a Revenge, they have a damn shield or no loot to make it worth my effort.

so, again, say what you will, its not fun anymore. its become a chore. chores aren't fun, no matter if i make them games with my kids to teach them that they must be be done to build character, a game is a different mouse. and its tiring. used to be relaxing, now i ride out shields after being raped of loot and spend about 1/4th the time i once did. so, again, SC can CLAIM there is no issue, yet EVERY post on here of someone saying that things have changed, represent 1000 others who have not said a word.... they probably just stop playing. That's the scientific number, id almost bet that it's a higher number than that since a lot don't get on forums. Say what you will. say that im being negative, say that im just a complainer that needs to go away, say im a troll, say that im wrong........... BUT APPARENTLY, im NOT the only one. therefore it isn't in our minds or some glitch or a very minor amount of players.

Ill give this a couple more weeks and if it doesn't change, ill set all my collectors on the edge with my town hall, builders huts and storage containers and DE drill. with all the defenses far from them so it will be the easiest of pickens for all who come across it. and take a long break. I have plenty of other things to do anyway.

The Game i have played was the best game i had played but I think when the game become frustration rather than fun then simply quit it. I think i am not gonna make it . I had dream be to be at top but there nothing I can do for that. I think rather than struggling i should quit . It take more than 20 min to find some good loot which merely covers troops cost . Then why to waist our time . After A week i will gonna quit definitely. And When I will quit I will post my last post for supercell . "DO something for some one". Take care and do not get zapped. let me start by saying i myself have already posted on this thread and complained about the loot.

after reading i have notice a lot of people saying that the loot is fine most of these people also stating that they raid with boosted barracks.

the past week or so i haven't been able to find anything and i don't just mean easy loot i mean i can't even find bases with loot in storages much less collectors. today i decided to buy some gems boost my barracks and finish up my lvl3 golem upgrade and sure enough the first raid i go for after the purchase had over 300k of each and 2k dark in full collectors...i have been on for an hour now barching and within 10-20 nexts I'm finding these same raids with full collectors and easy loot. i am beginning to wonder if supercell is rewarding the people that do purchase gems because there is no way this could have been a coincidence there was a noticeable night and day difference from the few hours before i bought yes and the hour after.

to sum it all up the past 3 days combined while granted i haven't been on for a long time i combined farmed close to 5 mil gold and elix and close to 10k dark

today after i bought gems and boosted barracks i have farmed that much in one hour..


this game was certainly addicting at times to me and very fun but if thats the way its going to be then I'm thinking about just giving up. as dumb as it sounds I'm more than willing to spend money on something I'm interested in but now i feel like i have to spend money to stay interested and thats not how things should be. i realize first and foremost that this above all is a business but to me supercell is hurting themselves in the long run. in my opinion and based on my reasoning and my decision me and a lot of other people happy with the game would continue to spend money but if the game keeps moving in this direction i will certainly stop. supercell seems to think by making goals in the game more unattainable that people will buy gems to attain them, which to me ts just the opposite. why not keep people happy and coming back for gems? instead supercell is basically throwing us out the door and trying to lure new purchasers that never got the opportunity to see the game in it prime and that in itself pushes me to not waste my money anymore. hopefully supercell takes some of these comments into consideration with another update but this has been trending in this direction for a while and seems like theres no end in sight.

What!?!!?!??!??!! Are you KIDDING!?!?! Not only do you spend literally half the day playing an APP, you spend money on it at the same time. Why is no one else bothered by the fact that this person plays 10-12 hours a day!? Bruh, get off your device and go outside.
