    Even though the next cost would be removed, it wouldn't make nexting any more 'fun', so although it would be completely free to next, we would sit and next for 30 minutes, as opposed to 20. Is going back to the loot system pre-December out of the question ? (Pardon my ignorance if it has been stated already, as I have looked and looked, but found nothing)

    Agree. Nexting is more a symptom then the cause. The issue is the lack of viable targets! Next is boring, takes the fun out of the game! Whether it is 1000, 500 or free!

    Edit: though lower nexting cost would remove a lot of the fustration. Still, fix the issue with viable targets!

    Last 2 days is ok for me as th 10. I could survive.

    And i have complain a lot about the loot issue...btw we only need a bit loot, and all customers-company will be happy.

    Fully agree!
    It is also true that a th 9 or th 10 shouldn't be loss making on an attack because of nexting costs and not finding a "decent base" (for me decent is a BARChable base without spell with about 250k loot).

    I think that's false at th8 as well. I have max collectors and I couldn't keep all 5 builders going off my collectors alone.

    Well, I started with the weakest argument first to end on my stronger point. Obviously search cost shouldn't be entirely removed, but it shouldn't be as high. The loot penalty increases already exponentially and on top of that the search cost does as well (750->1000 as TH10).

    Removed, no. Substantially lowered, yes.

    You are also faced with the gambler atittude: "I have spend so much already on search costs and still see no base that makes it worth my gold and time, so why not next once more...". Don't forget: the cost of search is gold AND time. If someone decides to hit high loot bases, they already invest tons of time. Others whom are happy with say 100k bases will invest less time. The big issue is the high search cost. You easily hit 50-70 times within 15 minutes to settle for a base you aren't happy with. Invested time isn't as bad (it's a game after all), but when it takes a chunk of your gold away once again it can get very frustrating.

    I understand where you are comig from though, so a complete removal wouldn't be good either, need a (small) detterence from nexting like a mad man.

    Tl;dr: now you invest time AND gold. I would like to see us investing time instead of gold.

    On another note, I'd love to see a response to the second part (more important part) of my post please ! It would make my day.

    I'm not saying it would be fun, it would be equally frustrating but by being free, it also makes it more endurable.
    Going back to an old loot system I think it's out of the question, changes should be made on a "moving forward" logic, with new balances and adjusted to the current state of the game, not what it was back then. Just my opinion here

    Sorry for the double post, but actually there's times it's hard to find loot as a th8 as well. There are times all I can find is 60k total loot bases, and you're obviously not getting anywhere with that at any th level.

    Kind of come off like a condescending jerk though.... just sayin.
