Funny post.
You dont need to take me seriously. In fact, I was not actually directing the post at you.
I'm glad that you pick up on the fact that I have been complaining about loot for months though - ie since before the infamous lix for walls update.
I'm playing less. Quitting is becoming easier but aFTER BUILDING - OOPS CAPS - up a maxed TH10 base over 2+ years, its not something I want to do...
But spending more time on the next button that I do chatting in the clan or actually deploying troops in a raid is clearly non sustainable.
I look forward to when you progress your base and are also embraced by the full warmth of the current system. Time played plus abysmal loot and you might be more understanding of my position...
I'm sorry, I think you misunderstand. I'm not justifying why people play these games, I'm trying to explain to you that for whatever reason Clash brings enjoyment to the people who play and that in the end it's no more or less pointless than other games. Sure, it's different than the mechanics of other games. I see that you find other types of games more fun. Go play them instead, nobody's forcing you to play Clash.
I'm one of the older folks here on these forums. I played those 80s and 90s games you speak of in my childhood. Most of them involve a lot of mindless button smashing and incredibly simple mechanics. Not a particularly good example to make whatever point you were trying to make.
i couldn't agree more with this statement. Everyone is trying to find a troop makeup and trophy range that's not a waste of time. There should be incentive to building the longer training time troops. I can confirm that many members of my clan (mostly th9, some 10s) spend more time spamming the next button than actually fighting bases or talking in clan chat.
Sorry if things get lost in translation. Pardon my english.
Its fine man 😊. Im just stating that clash eventually boils down to mindlessly smashing down buttons in a restricted area around the screen.
Come to think about it, arent the mechanics of clash quite simple too, you train your troops and deploy them in designated area on the battle area based on where you want them to go. Oh and you can defend against those attacks too 😊. But really it basically boils down to doing the same thing over and over again whether its farming or pushing.
As for the 80s and 90s games... yeah i agree that there is a fair share of crappy games back then. I assume that those button mashing games are those boxing/wrestling games or those terrible arcade or movie knock offs.
Of course, there are still many great games that require practise for mastery too. Just check out the many lists of the best/hardest console games of that era 😊😊😊
I'm afraid you won't have much to look forward to. Despite your false assumption, I am already embraced by the "full warmth of the current system", as you so eloquently put it. Perhaps not as advanced as you (knowing that you farm lvl 11 walls), I still have been TH10 for a long time now with about 1 Billion GG (doing heroes, lavas, finishing off ATs). I actually quit playing myself about 4-5 months ago due to me being bored with the decreased loot and endless nexting (and only recently came back when the new ATs were introduced). But you see, I didn't write a multitude of pathetic complaints with threats of quitting before I quit. No, I just acted like a sensible person would: I didn't enjoy this pastime anymore and I quit. And then I returned after a couple of months. While the current situation isn't that much better, the increased league bonuses do help. I have adjusted my playstyle by going up in leagues and playing more casually. I'm not thrilled with the loot situation, but evidently it's acceptable to me. Otherwise I wouldn't be playing, would I? I mean: you'd have to be a complete idiot to keep playing a game of which you don't enjoy its most important feature to you, no?
My point? Adapt or quit. We get it by now: you don't like the loot situation. There is no indication that the situation will improve, so why do you still keep playing?
