I barch in silver 2-3 as TH8,finding 300-400k collecter loots!!!
Supercells response to loot issue, is like a fart in the wind. It stinks and goes away, with no results. Gemers and in actives are protected at bottom of que and I'm at the top getting hammered. Continuosly nexting losing hundreds of thousands in gold and then logging off in disgust, only to be instantly attacked and losing 200k + in gold/elixir 1k + in de. That's what I call fun times, NOT. Tried riding shields, but mines and collectors will not produce enough for upgrades. Tried different trophy ranges, different raiding armys and different strats, to amass resources. End result: 5 builders sleeping, bleeding resources to find targets and bleeding resources being attacked. The ability to have fun and advance is gone. To those that say loot is fine, are FULL OF POOP and are nothing more than shills for supercell. To those that say you need a certain trophy range, army or strat, are also FULL OF POOP and shills as well. You supercell lovers must have a magic next button or you have a magic target que or you buy gems to make up for it. The Halloween update is pathetic and does not address loot issue. Why would I waste gems to boost buildings, when the boost will run out ,while I'm hitting the next button, ROFLMAO. This whole situation is absolutely insane and it's time to find a game worth playing.
Well I've been saying loot is ok for a while now....but yesterday was rough. I quit searching multiple times because I just saw nothing (not even storages) at 2700.
The issue is so many active bases with smart players who quite logically hold very few resources. These bases clog up the search queue, because they are not worth attacking by anyone. I'm holding 4m+ of each (saving up for 8m gold/elix upgrades), but obviously my base is either online or shielded (TH outside).
The game design is broken. Its cool if SC wants us to attack active players. Make it worthwhile to do so. There is no reason that our reward must only be based on how much our opponents are holding.
I think the answer lies in the apparently conflicting responses of Steve and Daddy.
Steve acknowledges that there is a loot problem.
Daddy says data shows that overall loot is not affected.
Assuming neither of them is lying to us outright, that means the loot is still there. It's just not getting to us. This indicates to me that the real problem is the ever-increasing flood of bots. It will do no good to move the inactives up in the queue because the vast majority will be picked off by bots.
The elixir for walls enters into this because before the bots would max their elixir and then have no or little use for it. So they targeted only gold (hence the problem finding gold before the update). Now they can plow it into walls so they have adjusted their acceptable targets. Bases they previously would skip (low gold, high elixir) are now being raided and the lix goes to the botters' walls.
Unless and until the bot problem is rooted out, nothing we or Supercell does will help. Unfortunately SC appears to have no plan or even any way to track botting activity, based on their requests to us to provide evidence of botting. If a game as complicated as World of Warcraft is plagued by botting, it must be child's play to create the necessary scripts for a game simple as this one is.
In any event, unless SC acts swiftly and brutally against the bots there is going to be nothing left but bots and kids under th7. The bots are voracious. My clan has had to stop warring since they had to choose between upgrading and warring; there isn't enough loot available to us to do both.

I'm finding inactive bases.. Once every one or two days. I agree that inactive bases works as a bonus only, but not finding loot above 150k+ in storage is ridiculous. If I happen to see 300k+ apparently it's a th10, and sadly not a rushed one. Th9 and th10 suffer the most from this lack of loot. Just because there are many new players doesn't mean that it's fine to abandon long time players![]()
