Dude, finding a bunch of stupid easy abandoned th8s with half to full collectors is not comparable to what th10s go through in the slightest.

Why?? Because up through th8 you can play this game in a very casual way and still make progress, leaving those collectors out for constant grazing. This is why you can farm collectors indefinetly. Th9s and 10s however cannot. Most of those semi active th8s will quit the game when they hit th9 or 10.

Our high level of activity is required to make progress. You will never get loot from my collectors, you will likely not get loot from my storages either. The game is completely different at th10. Combine this with inactives being pushed back, townhall snipes on any base with loot to protect, bots hitting any monster bases that do exist, and the elixir to walls reducing elixir to extremely low levels making big armies very difficult to get to active players storages, we have our current situation.

Dont tell me how to farm only with teir 1 troops! Farm what exactly? Hit next till abandoned bases show up like you are doing? There are hundreds of th8 abandoned bases to every 1 th10 abandoned base. Tier 1 troops cant get to storages very well.

Im th10, nearly maxed, billion gg was months ago, I and others here know how to play.

The loot situation continues to be HORRIBLE! On far too many days the game is virtually unplayable.

Typical example last night: lvl 10, barch army, search and search to see NO loot available. Cups are around 2250 but I'm seeing this wherever I go. I literally cannot find a base where the loot I can grab is more than what it takes me to get it. After 10-15 minute I'm bored and frustrated out of my mind and settle for a base where I got like 70k/45k. The searching cost was double that and I ended up using a spell.

Loks like it'll be another week of no raiding, just nursing collectors and playing a clan war where I will drop 800k elixir. Ugh.

Lest I sound like a whining newbie, I have been playing a year and a half, have a strong th10, have gotten to champion league and farmed there. But the big-loot-change update and the elixir-for-walls update have absolutlely sucked the fun out of the game for me and several clan mates. I'm holding out hoping SC will wake up and do something to repair what they've done to the economy.

Have you actually looked at those raids? Yeah some of them were abandoned bases (ALL of them were th9s and th10s bases), but I'm mostly farming storages with Giants, WBs and barch army.

I have a th10 in my clan that doing great farming now too at about the same trophy range I'm farming at (about 100 cups higher).

btw, what your clan and ign? It would be interesting for me to check out your farming trophy range and troops you use.

So you use tier 1 troops and expect to find good loot you can get? lol

What is this supposed to mean? Quick armies like Bam and Barch have in the past been and still should be more profitable than Balloonions and other heavier armies due to the sheer amount of input they require.
Don't you use Barch yourself?

How can this guy find raids like this every 20 mins or so??? I am roughly same levels and in gold 1 and I cannot find anything. I next and next and next some more. I just blew through 212k gold trying to find a single base with more than 150k elixir and couldn't...

Don't you use Barch yourself?

As a th9 I used and still use Barch and BAM, but as th10, I don't think its still a viable option unless you farm league bonus or have higher level heroes (level 25+) that can take out th9s storages.

That's why I started using GiBarch, to get myself ready for th10

You are welcome to go to my profile and check my level and exp isn't much changes. Not only that, I got 2.6m more loot in my storages. So net profit of 1.3m loot an hour

My assumptions aren't based just on my clan. Most don't dump elixer into walls unless they have elixer stuff maxed and then they are like me and there is little difference for the reason noted above. Most farmers at TH9 and lower look for abandoned bases which aren't impacted by the update. I do agree for maxed TH10's the update changed elixer for them although there were a lot of loot complaints for TH10 before update already. All of these expensive upgrades, including the upgraded elixer and gold options with last update, have taken a lot of loot out of the game. (And note I didn't say elixer into walls had no elixer farming impact, just less than many on here think.)

Most should also learn how to play the game and save up for upgrades with their townhall outside to get cheap shields. But the majority don't. To know exactly what they will do with the option to drain elixir out of the game is hard, but I see a lot of them like to keep ther storrages unnecesarrily low.

But I agree and you have a good point that so many atractive elixirupgrades in the same update had a negative effect on elixir right away. Hopefully elixir will improve a bit at least. We should be starting to see something very soon as many TH9/10 farmers probably have them done by now.

I am not questioning how he makes his troops so quickly... obviously boosting barracks etc, what I am questioning is why some people are finding bounty like this so quick and so often and am sitting there nexting forever and really struggling to find bases to attack, despite being similar levels and in same league (Gold 1).

It's as different as night and day between my experience and his.

I am working so hard to find elixir and like I said I just nexted through 212k of gold and didn;t come across a single base with more than 150k elixir, yet he gets those every 20 mins... ♥♥♥ is going on??

I never boost barracks, my army composition takes around 20 minutes to train and is training while I'm nexting, so I can raid every around 24 minutes.

Maybe its just me taking all the loot
