The answer is to change the demographic to whom you market, and stop marketing to younger teenagers. But I fear it may be too late.

What your saying is they benefited from the impatient ones and now the community is suffering from the impatient ones?

In a nutshell this new update came at a time with:
More fluffy bunnies running around, new players entering in due to marketing, less elixir overall, and NEXTing.
Less bases with resources due to elixir to walls and less abandoned bases due to fluffy bunnies sweeping them.

This is what we call the 'perfect storm' for depletion of resources, progress and fun. Time for some major changes dealing with the dynamics.

First and foremost thank you Steve for finally joining in on this serious matter and its commendable that you acknowledge you guys response is a tad slow. That said, do not underestimate what these 3rd party software can do to the economy as they are auto-tracking high loot bases (often times abandoned bases) and they are doing it all day. There are even clans exclusively made harboring them (search clan 鼎鼎 copy-paste those characters on your device) so it shows the audacity they have now on this game. As more people decide to use this it harms the legitimate players even deeper and we are 'investing' in this game because we see it as a fair and clean environment. If these auto-players are being ignored by you guys then it will only make them more bold as they realize there are no consequence to such blatant ♥♥♥♥♥ing. This is a billion dollar company and game its time to step up on security as it will be a major blow in tarnishing the reputation of such a transparent (checking players records and replays...) style of game

I have never understood why SC doesn't enlist the help of the players to find these people. A message in the inbox to screenshot the league you are in should reveal these bases quite quickly I would have thought.

SC consistently asks people to send video of any bot attack so they can take action.

On a business standpoint they need to realize that the operators of such 'services' are making money on a subscription basis which means money that can be going into SC pockets (via gems) are now going into the fluffy bunny operators. Whats worse is by legitimate players knowing of this, many will not choose to put money into an environment / game that is riddled with these ♥♥♥♥♥ers - its would be a bad investment. It's a down right joke these fluffy operators are joining in clans and advertising their services and yet nothing has been done about it.

I have clan mates that have written to SC regarding to such blatant auto-attacks and they just respond with a thank you and we will 'look in to this soon enough with enough proof'. Perhaps if there is a standard on the consequence if reported and caught then people would actually give more effort in reporting them. If a few is banned indefinitely you can sure as hell bet there won't be as many clans and sub-clans made for them. (search clan 鼎鼎 copy-paste those characters on your device for some amazing donation counts)

Donation counts aren't enough. They need video of the bot attack or screen shot of the clan/player discussing the ♥♥♥♥.

The clan mates did send videos and pictures, obviously not just donation counts despite it reaches upwards into 50,000 donates which is humanly impossible with ordinary sleep pattern. The advertisements for such fluffy bunny service that we see sometimes unfortunately are not in English and also many of the abusers names are not in English (its Chinese names) either which I think is whats making it more difficult for some people to report.

Why don't you guys offer a 1 gem boost , a reduced cost of troops/spells for a couple of weeks until you guys fix this whole issue . Quite Simple .. UNLESS current situation is more profitable to you .
