The only word I can describe the game's current economy is TERRIBLE. Just boosted barracks, used 40 gems. After ten minutes pressing NEXT gave up. Been playing this game for 2 years, very close to jacking it in. Well done SC for ruining your game.

After maintnce break last night i boosted barracks and barched i farmed 5 mil gold and 6 mil elixir enough for llvl6 ballons and another lvl2 xbow

Well I was about 80k from upgrading a wizard tower. Thought I would take the risk and try and farm it, what a huge MISTAKE that was. One hour and 600k in nexting got me no where I eventually just stopped searching to stop the bleeding. I just don't have the time to be nexting that much. Not sure if the abandoned bases are last but while searching I had the your battery is at 20% message and it restarts the game TWICE. So done with this game. If there was an option to get my money back and them take my accout I would. So boring now, hope no one is buying gems.
The vast majority of loot ive been finding is NOT in storages. It is off of dead bases, people usually without a league flag in them at all meaning they arent even attacking anyone.
90% of bases with loot over 100k in them is from their collectors. In order to profit from storage raiding, they need to be near max loot.
Yes, i have farmed in masters. At least there we can get a significant league bonus, the bonus covers much of my nexting costs.
The fact act that most of the recoverable loot in the game is off of dead bases and not in people's storages will eventually be the death blow to this game. Nearly every single big raid that clanmates are finding is a dead base.
More dead bases are not the future of this game. A healthy loot economy will reward bigger armies, more stars taken etc.
We are tightening our own tourniquet by being so active, and by keeping townhalls outside for quick snipes and no resources lost. I steal from others 50 times what is taken from me... It doesn't add up, and it is becoming more and more apparent.
I'm glad i farmed lv 6 troops before the update, in 3 days i did't see any base with full collector.
120k is the best i aim, 180k+ gold it's a miracle, elixir.....
Started to 2.5 mil lix to 1.8 lix now in 4 hour using giant and barch.

Yes brons0n, the period of time 1-3 hours after every maintenance break is great Thats why they call it "golden hour". Unfortunatly things go back to the new normal of no loot. Glad you got what you needed. I did well too. It reminded me of the game I use to like. The only reason I continue is that I'm in a great clan and I like chatting with them. But I refuse to spend any more money on gems just to hang out with a bunch of guys I only know online. Supercell needs to fix this!
