I had a few days off this past week and raided about 200 times during those days. As a nearly max th10 with billion gg months ago I know how to get loot out of a base. I made a mixed army of barch with 8 giants and 8 wallbreakers. Spells of 3 heals and 2 rages kept up for storages.
I did get about 20 million gold and 150,000 DE and started some major upgrades. However it took 3 days of playing 10-12 hours each day. My gold per hour was around 500k an hour most of the time. Oh yeah... I boosted my SF, heroes, and 1 barrack the entire time. I had some gems to burn, dont plan on buying anymore.
During that time I raided 95% the time I nexted until I found collectors 1/3 filled and took their resources. I was not looking for collectors. Semi actives were the only people hat had loot that I could get at. There were about 5 storage raids I was able to pull off during that time with takes over 200k in gold on maxed storage bases. Outside of that, any 100k plus recoverable gold bases were from collectors. Nexting was 10 minutes plus to find such a base on average. Luckily I was in master2 and the bonus paid for at least half of the nexting costs, but rarely all of it.
I had fun.... Talking to my clanmates comparing crappy loot stories.
I used to raid the opposite,.. Very few collector bases and mostly storages. Now the game so heavily relies on semi actives that we are struggling.
Getting 90% of my loot from semi actives and dead bases is not the future of this game. I dont think SC wants this, and yet this is where we are. You make a dumping ground for everyone's resources through lego walls and people will *gasp* use it.
I have posted a couple times ways to fix this. I really hope they address this soon.
