I used approx 90 troops to get 250k gold/pink from collectors in 5-6 raids. Raged my king if they were in a line. why will I send 220 troops to raid mines etc. As many people have said, some are getting lucky with raids other are not. I have found dead bases for fun today hence I said it is getting back to normal.
Anyways, I don't need to prove anything to anyone. Will have my xbow lvl 2 in 10 days. Cheers.

It's totally possible. Inactive bases. You only need 15barbs/20goblins/5archers to get the 250k/250k/500de loot available.

Time to build army: none. (yeah, its less than the time of attack, and you have 200troops left for next attack!)

I've fallen asleep sometimes from nexting and accidentally put down a barb, thereby wasting an attack. That's usually when I put down the ipad and go do something more intersting.

Loot has been pretty skimpy for me tonight/this morning. 200k total max (gold/elixir, or one or the other). I don't see how it'd be profitable to train anything other than barch to grab it.
Looting has been real bad the last few days. i have been spending over 100k to just get bases with 50k of loot in them.

so your normal is to farm 4.5M in 2.5 hours without boosting?

no wonder SC need to nerf the loot.

Obviously this will never be the case If you are complaining, it means you are still playing (and possibly paying). In addition, SC doesn't cater to the masses: it caters to the segments of its customers base which have the most impact on its revenue stream. Your complaints do not matter: they are merely a minor inconvenience (if at all) since SC doesn't require your appeasement in order to do what it does best and fulfill its purpose, which is generating millions of dollars/euros every single day. Think about it: the more you are able to farm, the more potential revenue SC is missing out on. Every single update has one purpose in mind: how do we increase (or off-set the loss of) revenue? So if you really want to enact change: stop complaining and just stop playing/paying.
And yet - SC has listened to people and implemented changes based on people's suggestions . I don't know the motivations of people that seem to come on here and say such words of wisdom.

SC's business plan unlikely is to make all people throw that 11 000$ into our accounts. That will not happen in the large scale so they have to make sure that the average Joe is enjoying his game as long as possible so he's more likely to buy gems at some point.

If SC fixes something we complain because it dents their wallets why should we complain? Isn't the result more important than the motives?
Your complaints do not dent their wallet, only your actions do. Your complaints effectively result into nothing. However, if every complainer would quit playing and more importantly quit paying, then this may negatively impact their revenue and result in actions desired by the complainers (the conundrum being that the quitters wouldn't benefit from the change). However, if complaints aren't backed up with actions, why would anything change?

Furthermore, when I'm saying that SC doesn't cater to the masses, it means that the company doesn't implement changes in order to appease the majority of its players base, but with the purpose of extracting more money out of them. The vast majority of the players perhaps make small one-time investments or several minor investments over time to buy more builders, speed up barracks etc. and that's about all the money they will ever spend on the game. And since the vast majority consists of people trying to get resources for upgrades, resources are the most logical element for SC to affect in order for this segment to spend more money. I would hardly call that catering to the masses. It caters to the people who already spend the most since it doesn't negatively impact them, while it does negatively impact the majority.
