1. What th are you? If you are th7, th8 no need to read anymore.
There is no such thing as th7, th8 loot problem
If you are having loot problem you should stop playing clash.
You won't make it to th10. Even you do you will quit
I will assume you are at least th9.
2. SC changed the loot system about a year ago.
After that loot became bad. SC wanted us to raid active players.
They made it hard to raid inactive bases which gave us lots of loot before.
I was th9. Loot became bad, but still I maxed my th9.
3. SC again changed loot related system. Now we can upgrade our walls with elixir.
I am th10. Elixir now became very hard to fiind.
Sure adapting to this system is needed. I did well.
I maxed my th9 and as a th10 my workers are all busy.
But that doesn't mean loot is good. loot situation is another problem.
They chnaged the system to make it hard to farm.
Now it is mucha harder to farm compared to 1 year ago because of the different system,
That's why people complain.

This one is simple....
It is SC's fault because they create the economy. What does that mean??
Well, they decide how money flows into the game, and also how it flows out of the game.
You are quite right, people spending resource is NOT the problem - but it does highlight a flaw in the economy. That flaw is that there is not enough income to sustain our spending habits.
So spend less!!??
Well, that does not work because then the game is not fun. This, is basically the nut shell containing all of the complaints on the ♥♥♥♥ loot threads. While trying to have fun, people experience the exact opposite while looking for a raid that makes them worthwhile profit.
SC need to allow us to generate money during attacks or other streams in ways that FUN. Collecting from your mines is NOT fun so a 1 gem boost is not the answer. Sure, it inflates loot a touch but it is not sustainable and it is not enough.
SC should also consider how they remove loot from the game. Is it really sensible to take 100s of k of gold from a TH10 player through the unavoidable use of multiple "Next"? No one likes sitting on next for 20 minutes, paying 200k for the privileged is just insult to injury.
Hopefully that explains my view adequately enough for you to see how, I agree, spending is not the issue but income is...and SC decide in what ways income is generated. Thus, the loot situation is their fault and why I decided, after months of complaining about loot, that this is last chance saloon for them...
- Mines and Collectors lvl 12 - 4k/hr would be fair, 5k/hr is a wishful thinking
- Decrease time of mines and collectors upgrades (lots of people don't up them because it's too long). - most of these guys are the semi-hardcore farmer who doesn't care about efficiency and just wanted to finish upgrading defenses asap.
- Increase league bonus - So that masters will be swarmed by th8s barchers greatly relying on loot bonus? I don't think so.
- Increase Clan War bonus (at the time being, you never get your elixir back, even if yoy win your war) - Now this.
main: th12 56/56/26, 2nd: th11 46/46/20 and few minis
Loot still poor. tried two raids this morning. Both full army 100k gold specials! Minus searching and adding league bonus (C2) i am just over 140k up.
Guess I will collect a shield and ride it again....this situation is not improving for me at least.
It is an interesting experiment in the freemium business model at least. If you think about it, this change only really effects the largest and least revenue generating demographic of the game. New players will continue to join and enjoy the speedy progression and then challenge of TH1-8. The higher end players that generate the most revenue for Supercell will continue to gem away. Those in between, essentially the "free loading farmers" will be most affected.
Last summer loot was great with a lot of abandonned by players thar were away for vacations,
Juste after reaching TH10 I upped most of my expensive buildings :
- Maxed Sorcerer towers
- X-Bows to lev 3
- One inferno tower to level 3
- The other one to level 2
After the update there were some difficult days, and i really thought that the 8 millions upgrade for the second inferno tower would have to wait for next hollydays (x-mas).
BUT !!! loot was quite good since some days, and yesterday i had my 8 Millions an the last inferno tower is on its way.
I am at cristal 1 (Giants + Healer with some goblins, archers and minions) picking exposed TH for bonuses, and raiding 100k+ camps that are quite easy to one star (50%).
I've had a shocking few days. Loot seemed to get a bit better, but has taken another massive dive for me.
Looked down my attack log yesterday and there were 3 raids over 100k, the highest being 140k. Absolute joke.
It's obvious where all the lix has gone, but I don't understand where all the gold has gone.
The largest and least revenue generating demographic probably have the loudest voice. A few 1000 poor reviews will impact new player appetite for sure.
Would gemmers gem if this game started to lose players in favour of their (numerous) competition?!?! I'm not so sure. Only the most avid trophy pushers can be gemming in this environment. Gemming farmers surely cant see the point - boosting bARRACKS FOR - OOPS, CAPS - what? The boost will be wasted because even without boosting, by the time you come back to camp your army are nearly ready to go again!
Only a very small proportion of players are willing to spend the necessary coin to truly challenge for a top spot in this game. Some will gem and try to make it even though they are waaay off the pace and the rest probably gem to enhance their fun. Ie complete builds faster, gain loot quicker etc...But it is hard to enhance fun when it is thin on the ground to begin with...
It's just a game......
A company, earning a lot of money, saying: it's just a game.....
Please, I just want too play the game, so could you tell us something about our complaints in the lootthread.
Thx.
What happened, post moved to this thread, Daddy's reaction is gone?
Ok, I've found it.
