I gotta say Castle clash is good. Wish I never invested time and money into coc. There's just so much things to do in cc compared to coc. For $100 I got all the best heroes in the game and I'm having a blast lol. What I like about cc is that they have new events daily and give free gems for doing certain task like logging into the game for example. Star wars commander is alright but what's the point? There is no wars or anything just the campaign. Sure there are clans but they are pretty much useless. Star wars looks gorgeous on my tablet though. I also dug up my old iPhone 4 to try plunder pirates and it seems good just horrible on the tiny screen of the iPhone 4. I will play it when it comes out for Android though. Right now my daily games are cc and col 2 with a hint of star wars. Sw's is glitch infested though.

Posted this on another thread without realizing it was a very old one so I'm reposting my experience here.
I'm a lv119 maxed th9 working on lavas w lv23 BK and lv21 AQ. Been playing for a year now.
I've always boosted barracks when I play and have never found the game to have a loot problem...until now.
My farming strat used to be to barch (5min training time while boosting). I would press next a maximum of 3 minutes and would always go for any 100k/100k within those 3mins just so I could maximize the amount of raids I could do while boost was on.
Normally I would barch until mid/high crystal 1 and then drop all the way down to gold 2-3 using 150+ gobs w a few giants and wbs. Rinse and repeat. Again, never had trouble finding those kind of bases in a few minutes either while pushing or dropping.
That has definitely changed in last month or so. I find myself nexting for 10-20 mins to find a 100k base and like many here are saying it is not fun. Loot is definitely drier now than it's ever been in the last year for me.
Clan: AdultsClashToo
Sn: Spyro
EDIT/CLIFFS: used to next an average of 15 times before. Nexting 50-100 times now, trying all leagues from g3 to c1.
What's really starting to ♥♥♥♥ me off is seeing the same damn bases that I already pop back up to attack. There are millions of players in this game so why do I keep seeing the same bases that I already skipped.
It's just so painfully obvious that SuperCell wants the long term players to quit to make room for new suckers.
SSSSSOOOOOOO much evidence it's not even funny.
Im a th10, around 1800 trophys and im finding about 800k-1m gold an hour, 3-4 attacks! Alot of full collector raids and also alot of semi maxed th9 with 350k gold/elixir.
Currently using a cheap and fast farming army, barbs/archers/golblins 1/1/1 and about 13wb, can easily get into any base and get 3-4 gold storages.
Clash on!
-willivodka
-Edit: I search around 1-3min

You're right...I forgot to include the league bonuses, my bad on that.
You seem to have this tendency of accusing people of logical missteps that you yourself are guilty of.
You speak of selection bias to refer to my not factoring in the league bonus. Do you really understand what selection bias means?
Selection bias refers to the distortion of a statistical analysis, resulting from the method of collecting samples. I didn't collect the samples. The player posting that screenshot did. Any selection bias present is on his/her part as they did not reveal how often and how much for they were raided, neither did they reveal nexting costs.
What you perhaps meant was reporting bias. Reporting bias refers to a tendency to under-report unexpected or undesirable experimental result.
And you're right, you could say that I was guilty of reporting bias when I forgot to factor in the league bonus. But equally, by neglecting to factor in the nexting cost and loot lost whle defending, you are guilty of reporting bias yourself. You make no mention of how many nexts he would have to do to find these bases. Neither do you make any mention of the fact that he is open to raids. He is open to raids atleast 9 times during that 27 hour period. It's highly inconceivable that some storages were not raided during that time.
You also mention red herring. A red herring refers to something that misleads or distracts from the relevant or important issue. So when you add up the resources created by collectors and include that in your final figure of a argument about loot, you yourself are distracting from the issue in question (ie. loot)
Now since you like wikipedia so much, here's a I think applies to you...it's called Projection (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_projection)
Projection is a psychological concept in which humans defend themselves against unpleasant impulses by denying their existence in themselves, while attributing them to others. For example, a person who is rude may constantly accuse other people of being rude.
The fact remains that the numbers you offer up are at the very high end of the assumption spectrum. They would only be possible if the player did very little nexting and if he was never raided himself.
What we can see however is that even that figure for elixir makes upgrades for TH9 and TH10 (including troop updates) take close to a week if not more to gather. You would effectively only be able to afford 2 upgrades every 7-10 days. Hence he only has 2 builders working.
The gold figure, for me atleast is very low end as well. 2.3million gold over 27 hours is bad when this was possible over two hours of raiding in the past.
Most of the people complaining about loot aren't as laid back as this guy and want to see their builders working as this means their overall progress takes as little time as possible. This was possible pre-update but isn't now.
Now you may come out and say there isn't a loot problem in reality. That issue is meaningless.
What matters is whether people perceive there to be a loot problem or not.
Why do I say this?
Answer this question....If people leave this game en-mass, it is effectively dead. What is more likely to make people leave:
A. There is actually a long-term loot problem and nothing is done
B. People perceive there is a long-term loot problem and nothing is done
I would say the answer is B.
The fact that there are two mega threads of loot complaints post-update that did not exist pre-update is proof that there is a perceived loot problem. And that's all that matters.
May the force be with us all and may our booty chests forever remain full![]()

You really know a game has messed up when people who have spent over a year on it are willingly advertising other games now. Those guys won't need a marketing budget at this rate!

I hate to think that ANY company wouldn't care about any segment of their customer base... Customers are the lifeblood of any business.
That said, IF SC truly cares about their customers, and if they truly want to KEEP their customers, then they are quietly behind the scenes right now working on:
1. backing out the code that allows lix for walls. And,
2. Changing the loot system to end this TERRIBLE 10% of up to 4 million system that has not worked since day 1, last December.
let's hope they care about their customers.
Hey, SC, the game is currently UNPLAYABLE. I honestly do not even feel like making one single attack.
UNPLAYABLE.
P.S. May the force be with you.

Been playing since Jan 2013. lvl 138, TH10.
lobbying for -15% of up to 2 million from storages- since December 2013 forced us into the 10% of up to 4 million loot system which does not work.
-15% of 2 mill FOR OUR SANITY!-
