The NEW one and only loot is good or bad thread

Loot has been horrible since the last update. I'm a th10 and It takes a long time to find pots at merely 100k in crystal league. I spend more searching for pots than I can loot. Raiding for loot is what made the game fun, I would buy gems here and there to support the developers. Now that supercell has eliminated the ability to find loot in an obvious attempt to force us to buy gems for all our upgrades they have eliminated the reason people enjoyed playing the game. Now that the game is no longer fun, why should we continue to play. Unfortunately it looks like Supercell's greed is going to drive me to delete the game.

I think the loot has been bad, and the game suffered from last December. Have posted a number of times about this bad update

but to be honest, the last few attacks, maybe last 10, ive averaged over 250k each. Abandoned bases. Some found within 5-10 searches. All within 30-40.

I came on here half expecting people to say the same. Guess i am just lucky

I'm a th9 farming at 1400-1500 trophies and the loot is amazing down here. After spending 5 mins. searching I find a base with 600K. Every time. Also, stop complaining about loot becoming terrible after last year's December update. The game is supposed to be a challenge. Everything can't be easy. Just because you can't farm you 1 mil. gold in an hour doesn't mean your clash of clans life is over. Maybe try looting 500K gold in an hour? Stop this complaining! The loot is perfectly fine. SUPERCELL is you are reading this, do NOT make the loot any better, you will only break the game, and make it way to easy to farm. If anything, make loot harder to find, and farmers, the game wasn't meant for farming, so stick your town halls inside!

This is how much loot i'm getting everyday, the pictures below are for today. And my advice is to boost your spell factory if you need it otherwise no need to boost anything else.

1. You still gemmed nevertheless.
2. You're in like C1-M3, its not easy for everybody to farm up there.
3. Notice the time difference between your attacks.

200-300k once per hour while boosting spells is not good IMO. If that's all people are looking for, sure, you're right, but personally I think that's abysmal.

Crystal league is a dead zone for loot ( you do get some DE). The last time I was in Crystal (like Crystal 2) gold was dumped into walls. The only bases that tended to have loot were TH10's with multi infernos centralised to protect DE and gold.

At the moment im in the lower half of crystal 3 and the loot is normalizing.

It was to be expected that loot would be horrible. TH10 had 2 troops to upgrade with elixir and also 2 Dark barracks. TH9 had two TH barracks which took most of the loot from our storages. It was to be expected that TH10 would struggle the most - after all TH10 storages would be empty as would TH9.

Some dumped their resources into walls - sure. But that people were able to accumulate so much excess elixir in the first place was a flaw in the game. I personally think that its going to be another 2 weeks for loot to be stable. though that doesn't mean that we will be happy with the result.

The only upside I can see is that this will allow TH7s and TH8s to progress quicker and not get stuck in the rut of endlessly upgrading walls. This will start to benefit the community - but that is a long term plan. Short term we are stuck with this system
