Im glad 90% of the new threads are about poor loot and too many nexts. Hopefully their Facebook and twitter page gets overrun too. Maybe then, once they can't bury the problem anymore, and its exposed to the masses they will address it.
Keep churning them out OP! You have my support.

Yeah man you can't space it. For some reason coc wants you to hit a smaller target sometimes and so just hit a target to at least get back next fees. If I get upside down it's all down hill. Part of it is also positive attitude. Don't let next work you over, work it over. Small target that is easy to take
Unfortunately people are exacerbating the problem. Loot is scarce so people are burying everything they have so no one can steal it.
I'm doing my part. I have pledged to have at least one million of each in my storages. Unfortunately people are so desperate I get slammed by superior troops because of it. I constantly offer about 300 k each of resources. I don't care as long as I can raid it back. The problem is that I can't. Thankfully I have some cheaper upgrades now. Makes it easier. Riding shields is allowing me to mostly get back what I lose by riding my maxed collectors and mines but not totally. I get hit almost immediately after I log off in gold three. There's no way I'm slaughtering my battery to prevent thks to hedge my bets. If more people were using this tactic there would be no loot problem. But it's a natural reaction sadly to low loot.
In the past I could do three raids and regardless of whether I got attacked I was ahead. Now it's more like six or more. Trying to cook troops through that many raids without getting attacked is nigh on impossible.
We really have to evaluate the structure of the game if it's forcing us to remain online just to not lose in the long run.
Also I'm of the firm belief that no one without maxed collectors and mines has the right to complain. Add to the available loot that frustrates you due to scarcity. If people weren't so incredibly selfish with the reasoning that "I can loot more than they collect" then automatically there would be more loot in the system. Residual income as well as your raiding adds more to the system period. I hate finding an abandoned base with low collectors full. I think about what the total available loot COULD have been. Do your part in the system if you want to see what it is capable of.
Also since elixir was previously not regarded with much value elixir collectors were almost always below gold mines in upgrade level. Now I see more collectors being upgraded than ever before. This level disparity is the major cause of the shortage in elixir. If you don't believe wait until you see your next abandoned base. Look at the available loot. Look at the levels of the mines and collectors. Gold is almost always more and the mines are always upgraded further.
Either way the loot is not good. At best it's been ok. But there's seriously an issue with it. I don't play games to work hard for resources. There has to he a balance of effort and reward or it becomes a futile exercise and disparages people from playing. If people don't feel rewarded for their efforts the game will die. No question about it. I spent $20 just to reward the developers for the time I've spent on the game. But they won't see more if it continues to be a grind fest. There's a delicate balance between reward and effort. It's not currently being met. That much is certain for the majority of players. Anyonewho doubts this need look no further than the fact that this thread is exists.
The population of the forums are the most intense and hardcore players. If they grow sick of the conditions what will casuals think? Exactly. Shorter retention times for players causing a shorter life span of the game. This will all amount to less players spending money in the long run.
Hey! I'm only 80,000 gold from an upgrade!
Next, next, next, next, next, next, next....
Im, uh...115,000 gold from my upgrade
Next, next, next, next, next, next......
Hey, now I'm 165,000 from my upgrade!!!
next, next, next, next, next, next, next, next, next, next
Now I need a full collector raid with 200,000 to do my upgrade
NEXT NEXT NEXT NEXT
forget this, I'm upgrading that one level 9 elixir collector.
Based on a true story.
like if you cried.
That is a straw man argument. The forums represent the most addicted and loyal of the customer base. Non members are mostly casual players. Forums also represent the most skilled and dedicated players who know the greatest variety of strategy. Other serious players will be YouTube subscribers and people who participate in subreddits and the like. But most of the players will be more casual players. If supercell loses the attention of the hardcore fanatics the casuals will be close behind.
I was thinking same thing until I found a juicy 250k or each collector raid
It made me realise that no matter how bad things may seem, you will find what your looking for if your patient and don't give up![]()
Thank you DragonX01 for my fantastic Sig!
