I agree. Until they fix loot, searching should be free and shields should stay on unless you actually attack.

Of course you realize this would just making looting worse because people would sit spamming next all day. At least chat is disabled while nexting. That would be some incentive to stop.

These are different Supercell teams.

Maybe so, but its the same company.

I don't really care if I'm with team blue or team red when I walk into a resturant for instance, if I see everyone else get better service then me, then that is annoying to any normal functional human being whenever you blame it on diffrent teams or some other excuse.

I think they are busy with their new baby. Boom Beach. I checked their general discussion. If you don't count the stickies then they have 3 threads on the first page with a person from supercell responding, while we got 0 threads on the first page with a person from supercell responding.

On their general page 2 there are 4 threads with responses from supercell while again, we got 0 threads where a superceller jumped in and said something.

I meant you don't lose the shield by simply searching. I didn't mean to take it off the timer. I think it would have a very small impact overall.

Here is a better solution. How about SC raises the search cost tenfold? It would cancel out the current search cost. Genius!

the main reason I can surmise is that they are working on the fluffy bunnies and the work isn't finished. I think super Steve already said this so saying it repeatedly would probably cause more complaints. I don't know for sure the reason why though.

I think they're hiding inactive bases so that they can use those bases to test whatever updates they're up to.

They don't say anything because the only thing they would say besides "Monitoring the situation" is, "There is no loot issue" - in their eyes (and pockets), obvioulsy there isn't one - so, better to mantain silence than to start an uproar.
