Yeah, because that's how the game was meant to be played:

Mindlessly spamming only tier 1 troops that were unlocked at TH1 every raid to farm the league bonus. It's so easy you could train a bunny rabbit to do it for you!

There is no longer any need to upgrade or unlock any troops besides barbarians and archers. Stop wasting your time trying to use armies that require skill and strategy. Don't even think about using an army that costs more than 50k elixir!

This is the most fun and exciting way to play the game and never feels like an endless grind!

Be a part of the solution, people! Stop wasting your time giving feedback and get to work!

Because everyone can handle farming in crystal and masters league. Because everyone can find th snipes damn quickly up there.

because the league bonus is so good, let's forget the troop cost totally. because barching doesn't take elixir at all

and because you think with your knees, what you don't realize is that even is you get masters 3's league bonus and 1 star a base, that amount of loot per 20 mins minus the elixir totally gets you nowhere

That doesn't work if you can't stay on for long periods of time. If you can only hop on once an hour to raid due to having any semblance of a real life then farming league bonuses is not a solution.

Even so....the rewards for grinding league bonuses are pathetic compared to what you should be able to farm (based on the game that SuperCell gave us before they decided bait and switch was a good business model).

I do agree that it's your best bet right now if you can stay on for extended periods of time....but doesn't that lend even more evidence that the game is broken? League bonus farming isn't fun....it's actually horrible. The fun part is when that battle ends and nice big fat loot numbers pop up on the screen.

Come on man...this is a ridiculous statement. What we want is to be able to build a decent army of loons or giants and be able to progress without hitting the next button 100+ times.

Is that really that much to ask of a company that makes gazillions of $$$ every day?

Ohh now I get it, you've never heard of using giants, or wallbreakers, or goblins, or wizards, etc. You've never heard of balloonion farming in higher leagues. You've only heard of spamming barbarians or archers.

But since you didn't know, those armies used to be very profitable back in the good old days. Now the times have changed and the only way you can hope to make a profit is by grinding constantly, spamming tier 1 troops. The game has improved, wouldn't you agree?

I had someone GoWiWi me the other day and he barely made a profit (actually lost elixir). I'm a TH10 in M3 right now.

I've spent a lot of time upgrading my big ♥♥♥ troops, but there just isn't enough loot to make using them profitable. I don't mind a little barching now and then when I need a lot of gold in a hurry, but it's by no means the only army I want to use.

At least one of your detractors seemed to admit to their errors. The match goes to EricTheHulk. I gotta say though I myself had doubts due to the discrepancies between your sit and the village you were talking about.

If I may ask, what is your motive for all of your replies? It seems you're very biased, and can't seem to sympathize with anyone who reports a loot problem; Logical or not their post may be. It seems you have some sort of hidden agenda. Care to share your reasoning, or is this out of the question?

My motives, based on what I am replying to, are different and vary.

I do sympathize, rarely, not openly though. The issue is all to often exaggerated or ludicrous and I'm not here to join the pity party, though I will attempt to reason with people. I usually come in for the later stages of cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it.

I have no hidden agenda. Perhaps you can elaborate on what you perceive that agenda to be?

And let's not forget. Did something I say anger or upset you? Too bad, I do not say things to make everyone happy.

Oh how the standards have changed. Before the loot system change in December if you only farmed 7 million gold in a day you'd be on this forum screaming at SuperCell that the loot was horrible. My daily average was 20 million when I could devote some decent time to the game (and keep in mind that was when boosting barracks wasn't an option beccause it was too expensive).

The very relevant parts about being a TH8, or below, who got a loot bonus of up to 50% for raiding preemie town halls is always left out of this story....
