As most others here, I am here to complain about the loot situation, until about a week ago I didn't even know that this forum existed. I only looked as the Loot is so bad and wanted to see if others found the same, all my farming has been reduced to barching which is getting very boring very fast. I have in the past occasionally bought gems to to fast forward the game a bit but until the game becomes fun again I will not be spending another penny on this game, I hope others follow suit which will force supercell to do something about it. Recently I have only been logging on to collect from mines/collectors/drills, I hope this changes in the near future or I will be almost quitting the game and having a quick scan through this thread I am not the only one.

Welcome to the forums.
You may find it interesting that this thread is not actually the one and only loot thread. There was one before this that all loot threads were being merged into, but it got locked at 3,000 posts because it "got too big." If it follows the same trend, this current thread will be getting locked soon as well.
The previous loot thread can be found here:

I started playing this game less than a year ago and it has been a fun game. However, it's all about hitting the NEXT button now and it's no longer enjoyable. The loot system is absolutely BROKEN and clash is no longer a viable game to play. So fix the FUBAR (f*cked up beyond all recognition) loot system, so we can all enjoy the game again. Thanks...
7 millions of gold in 24 hours…and the same has happened in the last five days! I guess i've found the sweet spot!

I give up.
No point raiding today. Even when i set my target at 80k - which is pathetic - I am unable to find a raid before skipping 80 times. Complete joke SC.
Not fun. Not what i call game...it just a chore and it is pathetic that you have not even attempted to address this. Yep, im angry...irrational as this is supposed to only be a game but still...forums are for venting so have some of that hot air...
Update came, loot became a complete joke and with it this game. 1 Gem boost came and it got back to normal for a few days. As many have feared since the boost ended game has reverted back to post update loot. Say what you want about supercell, they have done a brilliant job with this game. However, Im really surprised at their lack of response to this problem. Really its the core of the game. Im lvl 123, th10, nearly maxed, and have spend a significant amount of money speeding things along. But have really found myself becoming disinterested with the loot the way it is now. When youre simply pressing the next button constantly and spinning your wheels not really getting ahead this game gets old very fast. Its a shame
Today until now;
for 3 hours playing, starting with 2.100.000 gold. And now I have 1.876.000 gold.
Thank You Supercell.
Oh how the standards have changed. Before the loot system change in December if you only farmed 7 million gold in a day you'd be on this forum screaming at SuperCell that the loot was horrible. My daily average was 20 million when I could devote some decent time to the game (and keep in mind that was when boosting barracks wasn't an option beccause it was too expensive).
Now, people brag about a paltry 7 million per day.
But here are the questions?
1. What th are you?
1. How many times are you nexting before you find a good base?
2. How many hours of actual play time did it take you to farm that much gold?
3. Are you boosting barracks to get to that number?
4. What army are you using and at what trophy range?
It seems SuperCell's goal is to get rid of all of the farmers who actually know what good loot is and replace them with the new breed of people with low expecations, a very high tolerance for hitting the next button, and who are accustomed to being forced to boost barracks to progress.
