    As it stands now, many people simply hit "next" until finding an inactive base. Should that really be what the game is about? I suppose the answer to that question is "to each his own," but I find the system flawed, even though I made the most of it to get to where I am.

    All of that being said, I think there are some excellent suggestions in the post above to fix the loot system and certain related game mechanics, and they are worthy of consideration.

    I agree. The game is flawed... and you helped me figure out why this game is so frustrating. Putting my TH out for someone to snipe is the only way I can protect my resource. Otherwise, I raid for 200k each of gold/elix, then I get raided for 300k+ because I'm TH10 saving for max upgrades. So I have no choice but to put my TH out and hope I get sniped. The game is flawed... and I'm starting to realize this now.

    I don't think SC is going to change anything to fix this. Imagine redesigning the whole game because it was never really a good game to begin with. They'll ♥♥♥♥ so many current players off. They make money off gems... not people who buy the game. They have a thread dedicated to loot issues! Over 170+ pages of posts, and not one response from SC. So clearly, they don't care... unless you buy gems.

    I strong urge anyone who bought gems to request a refund. I bet that will get their attention.

    Had to abandon game again.
    Nexting 20 minutes, nothing interesting to attack and had to close the game because I didn't have any time to play left.

    I woke up this morning and broke my shield to loot. I gained 200k of each in G&E. 10 minutes later, I got raided for 400k in gold & 200k in elix. I'm TH10 and saving for my max defense upgrade.

    This game is unplayable. I don't even know how to save up for defense upgrades, when I get raided for more than what I gain.

    Similar experience for me only that my tolerance decreases from day to day.

    I "only" nexted 30 times. Only saw bases between 20k and 60k, besides the odd base with 80-140k spread out in 4 storages.

    After the 30th time I just closed the app, this is pointless.

I'm not going to either, this game is fun but not so fun I'd spend $1,000s like some folks.

    Just one example, my DE store holds 40K. Trying to get to HALF for an upgrade but I can't because I'm open for over 1,000 DE every attack. I've NEVER seen that kind of DE on any base that I could actually get to it. So, I can raid for hours to get about 1,000 DE....just to lose it. One lvl3 Drill can't make that up. Lame. Not worth doing.

    Sorry about the rant but I doubt I'm the only one noticing this. Bigger camps allow more freedom to raid higher. More mines/pumps (or higher levels than 11 these have been maxed for 2 freaking THs.). Or Idk, SOME KIND OF ABILITY TO PROTECT AGAINST LAME TH9/TH10 WHO TAKE THEIR OP TROOPS AND AVOID THINGS LIKE XBOWS AND INFERNO TOWERS TO PARTICIPATE IN AN UNFAIR FIGHT THAT THEY STILL GET TO MAKE BANK OFF OF????????
    This pretty much sums up the ridiculous system of forcing players to storage raid. It makes everyone prey on ths below them....how does that foster a true PVP experience? It doesn't.....it just makes people pick on weaker ths.

    The whole system is just completely broken.

    I seriously think they simply look at the total amount of gold in storages and that's how they gauge the entire economy. But the problem with that is that a ton of that gold is sitting in maxed or nearly maxed th10s and basically impossible to get to.

    I've been GoWiPed twice in the last 2 days. And both times the attacker failed to get more than 2 gold storages. And they both deployed their troops properly. So an army that takes 2 hours to build, with 5 spells, and 2 heroes farms 200k (plus the 90K bonus).

    And no other attack style has any hope of penetrating a good th10 base. So again, we are forced to look for people who can't design a good base or are premie if you want to storage raid.

    What a joke this game has become.

    While I agree with a lot of what has been said and quoted throughout this thread, and also think the TH sniping/shield system is flawed, I'd like to point out that if it weren't for that system some of us would be screwed over by people with more time to play the game than we have. For example, lets say SC follows through and goes with the above suggestions to remove TH sniping thereby eliminating the "cheap" shield for those who actually can't play 12 hours everyday and actually work for a living; what you then have is the scenario where you get attacked far more frequently by highly active players without any way to protect yourself, and while I'm aware that this is all speculation from my point of view, I'm sure that this is something SC themselves have also considered which is why they haven't rushed into making a change yet.

    Why would they trade one form of numerous complaints about loot shortages to another form of complaints about constantly being raided? I'm curious as to whether anyone else shares this view?

    And the most absurd thing is, the people claiming there is no loot issue and keep posting "proof", they are all collector raiding/barching inactives. And to add insult to injury, those are the same people claiming you should storage raid, that this is now the way the game is meant to be played..

    Sorry, but if you think YOU have a loot problem at TH8 I think you should probably quit the game whilst you can...

    I can see that you are frustrated being rolled by TH10s, and you are correct that we have more camp spaces and drills, but every single other issue that you bring up in your post is worse on every level at TH10.

    Nexting costs 1000 gold. I also see bases with less than 10k resources a lot... i gave up on a boost early again yesterday after finding NOTHING worth raiding. I ended up with a loss for the session.

    Yes we have 3 DE drills, but my next queen upgrade is 165k. Try keeping that once you get over about 70...

    Costs of buildings and structures are between 6-8million. We also still have no extra levels on the mines and collectors, and because loot is so hard to find, it can take days to get that much, and people can come along and take 450k i think it is from our storages. (ok doesnt happen very often, but it can)

    The frustrations are the same for everyone, they just get exponentially bigger for TH10...
