    EDIT: oh i do still boost after a maintenance cos happy hr after is great when not many ppl on....so if you have a maintenance break every night that will make me start boosting again lol

    I know other players who have already quit for similar reasons.

    IMO, SC is pandering to newer/lower level players.

    It only makes sense though; newer players are enthusiastic about the game and volume-wise bring in a huge chunk of revenue. The older players have already spent their money (if at all) so the potential revenue from them is less.

    SC knows what they are doing. Bring in new players to grab money, disregard old players because they already took their money.

    Ok, so I am still hoping that these "maintenance breaks" are SC maybe trying to find a compromise in fixing this horrible resource issue. I initially thought this bc there has obviously been a noticeable increase in people voicing their complaints as well as many people not playing as much if at all since the last update.
    I really hope that SC doesn't think that giving us a 3 or 4 day boosting session will fix their broken in game economy.. That being said, I'm a fairly developed th 9 and have been not raiding bc I lose way more than I gain unless I barch an inactive base. But what is the point in playing if I have to use the two most basic units and repeatedly next to find a base of someone who quit? Not only is it Boring and repetitive, it also takes the strategy out of this "strategy" game. Since this recent resource boost special started I have pretty much only logged in to collect and keep riding my shields. I look at my village and can't help but think that I am essentially playing a
    CoC version of SIM city! I look at my village maybe rearrange it, upgrade some stuff, and collect resources.. I just don't understand why SC would even allow resources to become an issue, and I don't understand why anyone who plays thinks it is ok that finding an inactive base is a fair compromise to a horribly outdated resource design that has not kept up with their numerous updates and additional content. I am still waiting for SC to at least acknowledge this.. even if they reply with a photo of their dev team all wearing sunglasses with crossed arms and a text that reads "Deal with it" would seem more appropriate than playing blind deaf and dumb.

    I wonder if SC is able to regionalize the game so we don't get raided by Asia players. If the talk about bots is true, regionalize the game and botters can bot each other. Keeps the game bot free at least in NA/Europe.

    I was just going to post something along those lines. Supercell, you have a great game here and I know your business model is to have a game that never ends, as you have said. That is okay and fine. Players will keep on spending gems on this game as long as they enjoy playing, as long as WE enjoy playing.

    Most players (myself included) just do not understand why you do not realize how the elixir walls have deeply affected the already bad in-game economy. Since players can now dump their elixir into walls most bases don't have enough loot to justify an expensive army strong enough to get to the storages. This makes players hit next more and waste gold that should be circulated to the economy instead of being lost to nothingness.

    I've read a thread here where someone calculated that for fully upgrading a TH 9 including walls, only 3-5% of the total resources are taken from collectors. That's how bad the economy of this game is. The collectors can't sustain the economy and the loot bonus only starts getting useful and noticeable at around crystal III. I just came from the master III just to see what's up there and what I found out is this: the 75k loot bonus is not worth the stress, pressure and time required battling against those high level players (I'm an early-mid TH 9).

    I hope someone from Supercell is monitoring this thread and reads our opinions. You just can't enjoy this game as before. You can't progress anymore if you're just a casual player playing five 15-minutes sessions, you have to be that hardcore player with straight raiding sessions everyday just to upgrade something. wreckdumb has stated it and I think he has a point. Resources shouldn't be an issue in this game. Resources should be just enough and just a little bit hard to raid but not like this, not making us stare at our handheld devices for two hours or more just to net a profit of 500k resources. Not worth it Supercell, not worth it.

    Elixer walls are great!!!! There's plenty of it about if u build the right army and are 2300 plus trophies! I'm full guys come find me im worth 400k of each and no shield amazing how many times i log in and I have to wait because someone's scouting my base but wont attack! please supercell dont change the elixer for walls it's a GREAT idea!

    +1 YOUR +1, and I really HOPE you're wrong. I'm the type of player who had intentions of spending to get to the top 200 ranks, but some of the more recent changes (elixir into walls? after I stayed at th9 for 2 extra months raiding the GOLD to finish mine!?!) which has had serious repercussions on the elixir economy (hopefully unforeseen... so they FIX IT), as it stands right now, SC, you've lost that potential spending. I don't think its newer players that spend though.. maybe im wrong, but I would guess that some of the guys (the top 1% in terms of trophy count) probably account for at least 20% of SC income from this game. Like I said, hopefully you're wrong. you're probably not though...

    Elixir is not the issue, BOTS ARE!

    Since bots are feeding off the inactive bases, there's nothing left for TH8's and TH9's to find as there is no loot left. So TH10 goes hungry too.

    Basically the food web has been altered by the onslaught of the bots.

    There are these crazy Chinese players with more than 1000 attacks per season. And there are hundreds and thousands of such clans.
    I do believe this is a conspiracy by other corporates to get people to begin hating this game and eventually quit. This would work in their favour as they launch new games and generate a solid player base.

    Therefore, if SC wants to retain its revenues and player base, you fellas need to get your act together and save yourselves. Before ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan.

    Been playing this game for just two months now. Was excellent to begin. But the last week has been seriously hard. This is an extremely enjoyable game, and i hope you keep it that way.

    This is ridicolous... Thank god for the boost period... if we didnt have boost - we didnt have any gold to put in to our nexting,.....!

    Sorry, but I have to write another post in this thread.

    So why do we need such a thread?
    You know that there is a lot of unsatisfied clashers in the moment. Thatīs not a news!

    Loot went bad in the fall update last year.
    You told us it would help TH10 players and would become good after a while.
    It never did! It made TH10 life quite bad.

    You did the last update and it became even worse.
    You tell us everything will become good. But sorry this time I donīt believe in you anymore.

    Just have a look in your statistics. They donīt lie!
    How often did we use to klick "Next" before the fall update last year. How was the average loot that time.
    And how are the figures after that update and (even more interesting) how are they now.


    You add more and more levels to all things in the game. You always need more resources. (eg. additional 52,5 mio gold for AT lvl13)

    But "nexting" REMOVES the fun.


    Look at your statistics! This thread is good, but it shouldnīt be nescessary if you just take our voices for serious.
