I still love the game (lvl 94/5 TH9) but agree that soe of the "improvments" are not helping/making the game better.

Loot is not bad.

Just flattened a th9 for 330k/330k/2000 with my gowipe practice.

There's a thread which was consigned Off Topic on common fallacies (errors in logic). One of them was anecdotal evidence.

Two things are important to note here

1) One swallow does not make a summer
2) nobody is doubting that good loot exists. If they do they are ignored by the reasonable contributors in the loot discussion.

It seems every modification made to this game is a revenue driven quest to suck all of the fun and money out of folks, rather than to improve gameplay. Farming and raiding for resources have turned into an abominable chore that only entices th8's into loving this game, leaving everyone else th9+ bored, frustrated, and disgusted.

I feel the worst for everyone behind me who will not experience the greatness this game once held: the satisfaction of cracking a tough base for a big haul; of not having to next hundreds of times to find a lucrative battle; of using strategy and timing to lay out troops that had a predictable AI rather than troop vomiting and hoping for the best; never having to resort to the worst bottom feeding ever known as the "barch"; no bait and switch game improvements that entice people to spend money only to have those improvements nerfed once sales of gems to complete them are lagging; customer support staff that listened to suggestions and engaged the community; the list goes on ad-nauseum.

Instead it has become a tool of corporate greed; a revenue driven machine that is blind to the human elements that add depth and warmth to their product. $3.5M per day is not enough to entice game developers to produce a quality, player based game, and every effort is made to convert all "players" into "payers" who spend money just to spray paint the illusion of fun onto their coc endeavors.

Supercell, follow your original business plan and make a game so fun people will be compelled to spend money on it for positive reasons, in the effort of having fun and continuing that fun. Give up this current business model of compelling us to spend money just to chase the shadow of greatness we once felt playing your game. Believe me, we will spend even more money once we are enticed with actual improvement in gameplay and the game economy. Otherwise, every barch army we make and then settle on a 50+ nexted 100k collector raid puts one more check mark in the box of mediocrity, and our bank accounts will remain closed to you.

I most agree with this. Excellent post. However even for my TH8 and 7 accounts, loot has gotten worst. Not more than 100k a raid, in Gold II, worst in Silver I. Supercell has been changing the loot up for the past two updates, this one seems like more than one. Clash Of Clans will go down, cause everyone is having trouble with finding fun within the game.

And yes, I'm usually farming a lot, but this is just plain stupid right now.

The "funniest" part of this, is that everyone is understanding that the game is dying, except Supercell...

The game is NOT dying. It's bigger and better than ever! And SC would know, but their sales aren't going down!

Hi guys the other thread was becoming unwieldy and impossible for members to follow - this is to discuss why you feel loot is good - or bad.

About merging:

When an update happens we always get a LOT of threads in general about whatever is the "issue of the day" - this time it is the effect on the economy of the update. Your opinions ARE welcomed and encouraged however please do not create unique threads about this one issue - rather contribute to this thread. There are a wide range of opinions that people would like to discuss on the forum and flooding general with essentially the same thread if not welcomed by the majority of forum users.

Have fun and remember it's just a game, it will all be ok in the end.

I too am th8 and have been finding great loot at 1300 trophies!
