On the flip side the trading does somewhat hurt the player who does not do trading and does not necessarily want to. So I rely on the friends I do have (I don't actively look for new people..I'm shy lol but I still accept requests long as you say it's for hay day).

The newspaper is back to all eggs, bacon and b&e all the time. I try to put up rarer stuff- in fact today ONE person wiped me out! Long as I get the money for machines lol. Scouring the paper for seven hours is not my idea of fun. While I have lot of time now, soon I may not have much time (here's hoping...).

    Words of truth!

I think it's about selection of your friends. Except one, mine are ONLY traders from this forum, and they do sell good stuff. That one exception was the guy who sold a lot of dairy produce and had his GC promoted via farm name. I guess that was the only outstanding batch he sold, planning to disconnect from him now. My pick of friendly farms is also based on those who used to sell nice stuff. Those who help with boats most of times are people who produce and sell non-bacon-and-eggs goods

And, if you can't load the boat, cast it off, or trade at this forum!

I have a theory on bacon and eggs. I use to believe that BNE was (and becomes again) so widespread because of three factors:
    - available already at low level (9 if not mistaken)
    - consumes easy ingredients and is relatively fast to produce
    - has exceptionally high price.

At the level BNE unlocks, it's by far the best option to promote, sell, and make money. And think of number of low-level players: they always are 10-20 times more numerous than high-level players. Not everyone gets to juice press, but I guess 95% of those who downloaded this free game gets to BNE level. Add those who use it as ad dummy (I try not to, but recently all my non-BNE dummies began to burn in minutes, even goat milk and chili popcorn, so I consider to start using BNE as well). That's why, according to my poor deduction, newspaper was, is, and will be flooded with BNE.

Together with likeness of people to communicate, it provokes players to get organized into trading groups. If not this forum, any other else would do. Who said they don't already exist in Russia, or China, or Brazil, in their weird, native, impossible to break through languages?

After all, direct trading is such a 0,001% minority of all Hay Day players! Agree or not that supply materials become rarer in Daily Dirt, by no means direct trading is responsible for that. And blimey, what should SC do to kill it? Until there's the option to add friends (and that is the cornestone feature of the game, it will only die when the game itself dies), direct trading physically can't be banned.

On opposite, I had proposed to introduce a feature of safe trading in game. Not my greatest idea: the more I play, the more I witness that game's balance is not perfect, but very close to perfection. I'll rejoice to meet safe trading support, but is completelt fine is nothing's going to be changed there.
