I've been using goweewee and gowipe for so long during clan wars, but sometimes 2 stars just doesn't seem good enough... I will start practicing, (wait what is it called again?), uhm, your tutorial and report back. Thanks!



Hmmm I was looking at your videos, and I noticed that those bases usually have single mode infernos and xbows facing down. Multi-mode infernos and up-xbows would wreck those balloons unless you bring 2 freeze... or not? Any thoughts or tips?

Wow, u watched careful man, that's great, you must have a lot experience on this . And let me say: no perfect tactic for all bases, such as: hogs just works great on bases has single infernos, outside heroes, air troops works well on bases has incorrect air defenses/air bombs position, so on ... The same for Balavion, it can't works well on any bases. The most important thing for us is: CHOICE CORRECT TACTIC FOR THE BASE WHICH WE ATTACK, NO PERFECT TACTIC .

For your question: YES, loons hate inferno with multiple mode like hogs, and up-xbows may cause more damage on them, Gowiwpe can work in these bases better than Balavion, I thought. In clan wars with many bases, you can choice other good bases for Balavion, don't focus hard bases for them

Yeah, the third video is the best attack.

That's me! I usually use loonion for war and farm with barch but as loot isn't great ive been practising the TH 9 BaLavion you have on your website! Will certainly need practise to get used to it! But so far it's going ok, 2 starring usually which is good as im still unsure of how to deploy them properly and have no archer queen atm! Haha might try work a dragon into the mix to snatch THs rather than relying on Heros.

I have been trying out 1 or 2 dragons in the mix as well, and it seems to be going ok so far .... Not sure yet if it's definatly better or not, but is not worse

(only have lvl 5 queen and lvl8 king atm, so hero firepower is a bit low, and my hounds are only lvl1)

I have messed around with lava hound and minion armies (with max rage spells)... quite effective and fun, but heavy on the DE... I usually used 3 hounds, but 2 hounds with rest minions is favoured by Vodka and others ....

Thanks for replying back! I'm yearning to learn a new technique, and lava hound seems to improve my favorite bloonion strategy -- maybe they are not useless at all!

So I spent sometime last night going through your videos and a top player's videos posted in the first page of this thread. You guys happen to have the 'opposite' strategy. You prefer to drop the lava hound behind balloons but the other player drops lava hound first (he calls it flying piggy). I guess ultimately it's a personal choice which ones you protect, and it hugely depends on the layout of opponent's base design. Thanks again! We have a war happening soon in my war clan and I may use the lava hound and see how it turns out, excited!

My King is lvl 10 Queen is 4 days away from lvl 16! also to the other poster about hounds and minioms do air bombs not mess up that army? Haha my golems are only lvl 1 so GoWi__ doesn't work for me at the moment haha

Lvl 1 golem is not the end of the world, gowipe and gowiwi really depend on timing and placement of spells. As for the seeking air mine and air bombs, the heal spell will definitely help. Also with so many balloons, you will need to split troops up instead of dumping all of them in the same location (eggs vs. baskets!). In the tutorial he posted, the troops were split into at least 2, sometimes 3 batches.

Would lvl 1 last against Max th 9s? I will certainly practise didn't bother cause I'd read you need higher lvl golems! And yeah with the balavion strat I tried both ways (hounds before/after loons) I found you can destroy most defenses but heavily rely on HEROS to snatch ths as minions kinda die off before getting a chance!

I usually release 1 or 2 minions in the most likely air bomb site, if no luck, hopefully the hound will trip them --- they are there to take fire/heat away from minions afterall.......

(Plenty of 2 stars with hound/minion, but have only 3 starred lower th bases .... so far)
