Clan War ♥♥♥♥♥ing?

In 2 of our recent clan wars, we noticed absolutely PERFECT attacks by opposing clan on our bases. When I mean perfect, I mean perfect placement of troops, placing trap springers, using 1 minion for drawing out air mine, 1 troop to set off big bomb.....with EXACT placement. Not complaing because we lost both the wars, is this sandbox mode? They did not ghost us, as I believe this problem was fixed. But a low level TH8 should not be able to 3 star a mid level TH9. The two clans are the only two to 2 star my base, they both happen to be asian clans, nothing against asians. I have never seen a clan attack with such precision and accuracy. You can plan well, but you can not plan perfect. My whole clan was in amazement. Our top player, who came down from Champion league to join us(almost max TH10), was amazed and even he could not believe it. They 2 starred him at around 80%, he said that hasnt happened to him even in high level play. Our solution to the problem is to set our normal play base as our war base and an hour before war day change to our war base, has anyone else had this problem or know what the heck is going on. I am a TH9 with 80% max defense, never been 3 starred, but these guys came close.

Again, PERFEECT raids, from bottom to top, pin point troop placement, spells perfectly dropped. I have no answer other than ♥♥♥♥♥ing. BTW the clans both had won over 50 wars, our clan was stronger in troop level, experience and defense. It should have been a cakewalk for us.

Anyone have any other suggestions. I would post the clan names, but I dont have chinese symbols or even know what they are.

I don't mind getting beat, but make it a fair battle.

It could be an exploit, but might not be. There's really no way to tell definitively, and that's the problem.

Only thing I could suggest is someone joined your clan and scouted your bases so they could see traps. Other than luck it is pretty hard to lure air mines with only 1 troop on the first try.

Move on, seems like your clan has already made the conclusion, I don't think you are here to be convinced on the contrary, and they didn't fix anything. So, nothing you can or should do about it (not even name and shame on the forum).

This thread has no purpose other than for you to vent off frustrations. Report to Supercell if you want (I do not know if actions will be taken), don't do it through the forum.

Once we start a war, no one is allowed to join until after war is over. We learned that early on.

people can get lucky with attacks and you should check to see if your trap locations are too obvious, but perfection across the board seems almost impossible.

Is there any way to combat this other than rebuilding war base an hour or closer to war day and making it harder to sandbox? Strategy answers would be great. I could not find a similar thread or else I would not be asking.

we thought the same about obvious trap placement. Our second war when it happened proved that wrong. Trial and error. They had a TH8, if I remember correctly lvl60-70 3 star one of our TH9 LVL99 with max defense. He was so mad he left the clan. They used a 9 dragon attack with a 5 balloon flank(cc) and 10 minion. The minion were placed where the air mines were, he dropped heal spells directly over the seeking air mines. He only had lvl 2 dragons. this should NEVER EVER on any scale happen. He was either the luckiest attacker in the world or something else. The problem was from their lowest guy to the top, all attacks were spot on. No more than one person attacked at a time from them. On our top guy lvl 116 th10 max d , their #3 also th10 but low defense, used 11 dragons(lvl 4) 10 minion and a 7 balloon flank (cc). and 2 starred him with precision at around 80%. Again, the troop placement was precision perfect for air mines and teslas, spells were dropped perfect. We sat in amazement, If they are that good then they should write a book. I would just like a way to combat this from happening as I stated in another reply.

In that war they got 121 out of 135 stars.

I was referring to the question on your title. Yes or no, you knew it.

Like I said, nothing you can do about it. What makes you think changing your base closer to war day would change anything other than more hassle for yourself?

I guess I am just old fashioned and do not believe in having to doing that to win.
