What some of you fail to realise, is that we, long-time players (since it first came out), have been asking for this option! Now all yr troops are at max, what else do you spend yr elix on? Im at 6M right now and my de is the only thing to be used for upgrades (ok i havent taken barch to 7 yet - maybe never even will). Gold has become slightly less important and elix has become more wanted on every level.

I honestly doubt SC will reverse this as it's actually improved the total game experience. Btw my loot bonus in crys1 usually covers the cost of troop alone. All elix I loot on top of that is bonus. Maybe you should try to vary in troop set-up. Attacking a th7 with a 150k army is stupid. Barch them and you'll see you make a profit

I completely agree. Although I do not think that walls are the only problem. I know of a ♥♥♥♥ that a few people I know have, and I am seeing people with it on global too. It is an app (I will not mention its name). I am telling the truth, please do not call me a liar, I don't need to hear it. It allows you to set a minimum loot amount while searching and then it will take you straight to a base that has lots of loot. I think this is the reason elixir is short (one of them). Clash of clans is a dying game. Players are stagnant in their progress, in a week I have gained practically no upgrades. Even though I am farming, thirsty, desperate players seem to go for anything over 100k. Shields are becoming very valuable, I try not to use it even if it is only maybes 2 or 3 hour one. No trophy league seems to have a good amount of loot. I fear that you have shot yourself in the foot with greed supercell...and I am sorry about that.

I was worried to last week but then I fished around in trophies and the loot is still there it just moved around a little bit..... I started the day off yesterday getting 450,000+ gold and 450,000+ elixir take a breath chill out and raid more

This is ignorant. Theres always somebody toraid. My clan hasnt been affected at all by this neither have my members. Sure it takes awhile to find a good decent raid but thats just part of the games fellas. I spend about 50k elixer on my raid troops I expect to spendthe same amount of gold finding a good raid as well. Theres always a player out there saving elixer up for a new upgrade or forgetting ready to do some serious donations. If you cant find one in your league then either raise or drop your trophies its that simple guy and gals.

I predicted an issue with elixer for walls in a previous thread before it came out. Not everyone agreed at the time. It seems quite a few people are now onboard, but I don't really see this as being the problem. People still have to save to upgrade barracks, etc. By TH 8 things start getting rather pricey, and so it is imperative that you save your pennies. I have good days, but many more bad days than good since the update. I think the timing was just right that the blame is being shifted from what the true scourge is - the people running auto scripts that are online 24/7. Depending on your trophy range, they are multiplying like rabbits, and devouring nearly every decent raid. I didn't have any real issues until the last couple of weeks...and now I find myself nexting 100+ times...something I had never felt the need to do before. It's not even about finding that gigantic mega raid that you have to share with your clanmates. Finding even 100k/100k bases that do not belong to some slumming TH 10 has gotten damn near impossible. It's not fun anymore, and it's something that simply cannot be ignored, and yet probably will. I was hopeful that this last update was a smokescreen designed to implement something to twart the ch eats, but alas I was disappointed. Not surprised, however.

This could all be a public service done by SC at the expense of the bottom line. It seems people are discovering new, constructive ways to pass the time. More may be soon to follow.

Since the update, I've upgraded my archers, barbs, and a dark barracks.

This is at TH10, where farming is the hardest.

Oh, plus five level 13 archer towers, and two level 12 cannons.

The loot is out there. You just have to find it.

The loot is not there, this is a correct post. Also the statement above that this is due to abusers running scripts more than something SC has done to the game are correct.

We did have a good surge during the recent maint breaks because even the 24x7 bots get forced offline when the game goes down. I was purposely watching for when the maint break ended and raiding right after. For the first couple hours you could do respectably, but after that it would have to peter out.

Now that they are not doing the maint breaks any more the bots have been running again and the loot has been drying back up.

I've replied to multiple threads about this exact topic. 1 stop making new threads about the exact same problem every time u don't get your usual 400k+ raid and 2 the loot is there, yes it is harder to find an easy base with lots of loot but not that hard and on the other hand there is actually a use for elixir because it used to be that people had so much elixir they didn't use they became a more valuable target of people to attack meaning they lose other resources they care about. If you actually take your time to think about this update it has been a help not a hinders de.

Guys have already said they are not just complaining about not finding mega raids. They are saying they can't even find 100k a lot. Its ok if loot is hard to find, but right now it is not profitable to raid. Once in a while one gets lucky and finds someone that has not emptied in a while or left their storages out or something like that. But otherwise it is inside a base protected where a cheap barch cant get at it and not enough so that a more involved attack costs too much to make it worth it.
