Great idea about preparation day !

Dear sirs
Since we all know that preparations' day duration is too long, and to enhance the clan war experience . Why not to support a ( "ready" ) button feature for both clan leaders if the two clans are ready ?
Or a ready vote or counter for all war participants to be fair .
That will dramatically reduce waiting time, and makes sense .
After all why to wait several hours while both teams are ready ..???

There is nothing unfair about it. You still have 24 hours for War day. Just because it "might" cause an inconvenience for YOUR schedule does not make it unfair. Like others stated, if both teams are ready, then there is no point in having to wait several hours for prep day to end.

LOL, I love the way you capitalized YOUR. Obviously this is a divide between folks that have lives outside COC and those that do not.

Fair enough those that have nothing they can possibly do but sit and wait for that battle to start. I can understand that must be mind numbing. But speaking as someone that does have many other things going on, I would rather it just be at a set time from the get go and not be required to stay in the game watching it. If your side hits the ready button an hour into it and the other side never does (that would be me) you are going to spend 23 hours staying up to date watching a war status that never changes. Speaking for myself I would rather just know that I can go do other stuff and come back in 23 hours.

I am not opposed to such a feature because it does offer the choice to those that want it that way without eliminating my choice to do things to my own preference. But speaking for myself I will never avail myself of it and anyone doing war with my clan will be waiting the 24 hours.

A good idea but what will happen when some member in a clan would be suddenly away? then the war wont start?

It is not a bad idea but would like to hear more details on this.
