I know that I'll most likely max out my skulls only after all my defenses and elixir upgrades are done (except all DE troops probably), so... when my walls are max and I can't spend my gold and elixir anymore, I would either quit and put my storages and collectors in a corner or simply upgrade my TH to use it on other buildings at a new TH level
I dunno. Unless you plan on going 3600+ trophies, there isn't much point after level 8 walls. It's better to go to the next town hall upgrade. Or baring that, have a little fresh air for yourself.

I don't get it. Why would I want to upgrade my walls before maxing out my defenses? I would definitely upgrade my defenses first and then dump my extra gold on my walls. After maxing out my defenses I'd go for my walls.
