    Healers prioritising Heros on Defence

    Hi,

    i'm not going to post the video as that would be against the rules but we did some testing today and we are 99.99% certain that healers are now prioritising Heroes on defence - i'd LOVE for others to test this independently as I feel t might be significant for a number of reasons:

    1. Protecting DE - if the CC with healer, AQ plus DE are located centrally could that help keep the AQ alive long enough to stand up to another AQ that attempts to target the DE as is quite common?
    2. Cup chasing/Clan Wars - if you have two healers in the CC they seem to be targeting different heroes if they are less than 100% health, could this be helpful to prevent the second star

    EDIT - i'm not 100% sure they are prioritising heroes over ground clan castle troops, but they are definitely prioritising defending troops over buildings as they used to - a good mix would definitely be heroes + minions so they don't get distracted.

    Just back from watching your vid hehe. This could certainly change defense greatly IMO and a chance for healers to get some love.

    I hope so but, I never get healers in my CC.

    That is the sad tale of every friend based clan I've been in. Maybe if they had this update back then I would have appreciated those healers...

    I can't help thinking that having a healer heal your defending heroes would only be a slight bit less useless that is was them healing buildings. Healers heal such a small amount compared to the damage that they are counterbalancing that I don't think this will turn out to be a very significant change.

    That's a good point - looking at the stats a max healer gives +71 health per second, a couple on one hero would therefore give 142 - the flip side is if the healer is sticking with the hero near the core it has less chance of being lured so is likely to last longer than traditional defending troops.

    Healers only give 50% heal to heroes so even 2 healers on 1 hero would only give 71 per second. Also not sure you could ever lure healers anyway because they don't target attacking troops. Even if you could lure them I doubt most people would bother.

    Good point it follows that heal from the heroes would be calculated at the same rate as the heal spell?

    In testing they are quite impressive though - i put a video up in this last hour, it's in creativity.
