So therefore it's wrong for those from omitted nations to be patriotic?If they can't be all-inclusive by including every flag from 146+ (i forget the current count) nations, then they're being exclusive and I for one despise elitism.
I'm an American living in the US, but that shouldn't preclude me from seeing the perspective of someone from the rather large minority without a flag to show their patriotism.
If they can't include every single world flag, then what's a valid argument for including any of them? One that doesn't sound like "Well, I'm from a 1st world nation, so nannynanny booboo, gimme my flag so I can feel special."
There are plenty of far more manageable alternatives to national flags, several of which have already been suggested in this thread.
