Fastest Loot Farming Strategy with Low Cost Troops

your video vs. a TH9 is very nice -- a well executed attack with a nice use of troops and technique. but this video doesn't really mesh with your post re: fastest loot farming.

your strategy relies on 3 lightning spells and a bk and aq. not sure 1.5 hours of lightning spell creation time and 1 hour each of hero time qualifies as fast. without the spells and heroes, i think your troops would have been in big trouble.

furthermore, you only netted around 100k gold, 10k elixir, and 1k dark elixir. while that's nice dark elixir returns, i think the gold and elixir looted are low for using both heroes and 3 spells.

wouldn't you be better off using giants and a few barbs for loot farming? i'm not asking this to be critical -- i've seriously considered switching to all barbs and no giants (due to build times and elixir costs) but have found that giants just do better against mortars and wizard towers, which, in my opinion, are the bane of farmers and the best reason for not going all barbs.

Thanks for your reply. Normally, i wouldn't have used lightning spells, but to even out the advantage the opponent had (maxed mortars and wiz towers), i used lightning spells. Normally when farming, the barb method is quick and efficient without even using a single lightning spell.

I agree. when using this strat, only some times do you have to deploy a lightning spell. usually this is not the case

Yes and I sometimes even use the rage spell which can be useful as well.

So you've dismissed the entire video because of your crappy luck when trying to find a decent raid?

Sometimes you even wonder if he's just trolling us. It's not hard to find a base with 150k+ of each resource.
