It's not the easiest title to define or single out, but from my perspective the best player would be one who has mastered both elements to the game - farming & pushing, along with a deep understanding of the game.
Unity sharp / DizzyDaGreat (ITD) / brandon / smoke jumper would all get my vote. All 4 players who've farmed completely maxed out bases & have hit 4300'ish cups.
Of course other factors such as gem usage / profile achievements / level / how fast you developed etc. will pay a contribution towards this, setting aside those for now however.
To note there're plenty of others who have replicated / come close to these phenomenal achievements that also deserve an honourable mention.
