So Whats Your Opinion on the Lava Hound?

I love watching gemmers use them and fail! You need to be a smart attacker for them to be of any use. If you use them right then they're good, but nothing special, and not worth the cost or time. Need more health so they can survive more than one AD. I think it's ok they have no damage as they're a tank, although I can see why noobs/gemmers would want.

not worth the 3,750,000 barrack upgrade.

seriously? thats super cheap... compared to a minimal troop buff using much more elixir in the lab, you get the option of another troop for less than 4 mil

Seeing as the barracks upgrade takes 9 days and the update was Tuesday it's only gemmers that are using them.

As well as overweight, they seem massively underpowered as they do almost no damage. You would do much better I think to spend on baloons....which will take out AD if they get to it whilst also soaking up the air mines/bombs and the tesla/xbow/disco fire. 8-12 max 'loons is a lot better that two of these flying turds in an otherwise dragon-based army, because at TH10 level the turds dont really deserve 'tank' status even at lvl3....they would need 10k hitpoints for that because defensive fire is just so heavy and the air mines are lethal.

Better simply to have more attacking units that deal out quick damage than less attackers two of which are effectively useless at attacking. To make things fairer they should be 'stealthy' and immune/not trigger air bombs/mines.

I was hoping for a tank like air unit ... and supposedly thats what i got....but I don't agree. what i looking for was a golem like character of the air to help protect healers and minions for a a air / ground composition and i tried this at first with the lava hound....what a joke the lava hound was wiped by lvl 4 AD and the pups did nothing at all. Yeah it did seem like it had high hit points untill you remember it runs in a suicide charge straight for the highest dps defence in clash, the AD. Then of course factor in al the other defences it attracts and its HP start to look very weak.

So I've experimented with lots of comps and the one Ive had reosanoble success with was... 3x Lava Hound...the rest minions....Anyway I'm giving Lava H a rest for a bit...Good Luck finding a viable way to use him
