What do you think of what I have? I altered the fact that it does crazy damage to all buildings, but could be almost useless due to super slow speed and almost no health. Whales would definitely be required to use Undertow effectively.
Sorry another post but ryskew I have another question. Do you have any ideas for a fish that could act like a minion? What I mean is it could be a relatively average troop but works great in groups. The downside to the groups of minions is that air mines can come and take out all of the minions, so people scatter a few around the map to test for air mines first. I would like to create a troop that can be used like that. You can scatter a few of this troop around in the water to test for Fish Nets and Mines that can deal great damage to the Undertow. Please tell me if you don't understand :P
This is my idea. A little fish called a tentacle. I attached a pic of what it could look like,but of course meaner. And less brightly colored
Damage per second- 15
attck speed .5 seconds
movement speed 35 in water, 25 on land
hp- 45
cost: 80 elixir
the tentacle can slither on the ocean floor or on land. It spins around whipping its tentacles at its target. Simpler to a barbarian goblin mix, but water.
p.s. do I get any credit for salamander?
Sure, I forgot to add that. Thanks for the tentacle idea, I will definitely give you credit and add that to the list of troops! I might try to find another picture, but I might use that. Also, check out the main post and tell me what you think about the Tidal Wave spell.
I must say I've warmed up to the docks and such, and wanted to say this has amazingly great potential, you're a genius. Earlier this year (febuaryish) I saw a post about 'Cicadas' and they became what we now know as minions. Just tossing it out there that SuperCell DOES in fact listen.... Another thing: if I were you I'd switch the Salamander and Electric Eel in the Water Barracks so the Salamander's unlocked at lvl2 and you start out with Eels.

I am really liking these ideas. As for a new water defense, the first thing that came to my mind was a kraken. Like a water version of hidden tesla (or not)- would only appear when triggered by troops. Eats 3 troops or so at a time. the catch is that for 5 - 10 seconds it is super vulnerable to attack, due to focusing all energy on the meal. does not need to be placed on a dock sense it is a sea unit.
I like the spell idea! But 270 damage is a bit low. Mabye some more to make it useful. Also mabye making it wash up 10 tiles on shore so it helps against say clan castle troops comin on docks.
the one thing I noticed is the water area is not all that big. I like the idea of paying to dig Into land and make canals or just expand water.
for docks, I think there should be one piece of dock that is say 6 tiles long that is the connected of land and water. Then each other dock is spread from it.
I think since there isn't a huge a,mount of water buildings, troops like the whale and eel will be useless after they take down the docks and such. Mabye there are troops like a hippo looking thing that is both land and water, and a serpent instead of eel that goes on both. Catch is that land damage is half of water, so there isn't an excessive use of them
I added the Tentacle. Just slightly modified the stats to make sure it isn't better than the barbarian on land. For all my new troops, spells, buildings, etc. I check the Clash of Clans Wiki to make sure everything I put out there is balanced enough so that it could be implemented into the game and not break it or take away from other aspects of the game.
