just attacked a village awhile ago.. and didnt manage to secure at least one star. but that player was still able to do a revenge..
was it a bug or h@ck as normally to do a revenge is only when defense fail?

If you attack anyone, even if its just dropping a single barb and surrendering, you can be revenged. The revenge option has nothing to do with winning or losing the attack.
