I think that it would be a great idea to add more ranks to the clans with Clash of Clans evolving the way it has especially with clan wars in full swing now. It will help people in the clan and new people identify who the leaders of different areas are.

war officer- able to promote head elders and clan mail, able to kick/demote head elder & below, accept new members
clan officer- able to promote head elders and clan mail, able to kick/demote head elder & below, accept new members
head elder- able to promote elders and kick members, kick/demote elders& below,accept new members
elder- able to accept new members
village idiot- member who has earned this has done something dumb or made a leader mad
town crier- for people who are constantly talking
these new ranks i think would benefit clans in helping identify who in your structure of leadership and what they are there for also to have a little more fun in the game. With co leader being more of an official second in command helps separate them self from other leaders. War officer is there for all your war needs, clan officer for all your clan needs and so on.
