Can someone explain briefly how trading works? I have way more planks, panels, bolts, screws than I need, but can't get nails or duct tape. I am level 25...does the level you are at matter? I know that I am not yet able to access neighborhoods or chat (level 29 apparently)...so will not having this mean I can't trade? And for what it's worth, I am android user.

Read the first post of this thread. It explains how it works. You only need to have opened your RSS to trade.

If you are on Android, you will have to connect your game to Facebook to trade. You will have to friend your trade partners in order to find them in the game.

If you have planks, you will be very popular here. People will probably be willing to give you more than 1 nail or duct tape for 1 plank.
