    There is no silver bullet to the loot issue.

    The current loot system is complex and will require more than a single fix to resolve. I see it as a big puzzle that will require multiple pieces to improve. Below is my suggestion on how to fix or at the very least improve the system while leaving the bulk of the current system in place.


    • Increase collectors rate by 15% - Not a huge change but enough to generate more per day. While not a huge impact on an individual spread out across all users this will make an impact.
    • Add an achievement for upgrading collectors - This is very simple and will encourage everyone to upgrade their collector resources. My suggestion would be level 5 (5gems), level 8 (10 gems) and level 11 (20 gems) as the goals. This will ensure many player upgrade so they can get easy gems.
    • Give the next fee to the person you 'next' over - Simple to do and it keeps that money in the economy. Scale the amount you get based off your townhall level compared to the person nexting over you just like we do now with attacking to prevent abuse.
    • Increase win bonus for league - again very simple and should be easy to do. I would say each league needs to be evaluated individually but a solid 10-20% increase would be effective.
    • Add win bonus for defense - Defenders take all the risk. Costly traps, lost loot, lost trophies... give them something for a winning defense.


    Not all of these are my ideas but a collection of ideas I have seen. Some of these may have even been ruled out in the past but as we know things change. Either way I think these pieces of the puzzle will help the overall economy issue many players are experiencing.

    Supercell likes their current formula but the game has grown so much and changed. We now have more townhall levels, more expensive upgrades, and far more players. Even implementing just a couple of these could have a huge positive impact on the game with minimal work effort. I hope consideration to this issue is being considered. Thank you for your time.

    I'm a th9 in progress (40 legos, rest skulls, all defense and troops upgraded minus the new "hot dog", heroes in the teens) but I am not a hardcore farmer so I have never faced or encountered a "loot crisis". I've "nexted" 50+ times maybe once because Ive always found good loot (250-450k total) in the crystal leagues with balloonion/hog/or giant healer armies. I think there are other solutions to people not finding loot, but I wont steal this thread.

    So while I do not think the "economy" is broken, I applaud you for coming to this SubForum and putting some thoughts together on how to fix loot shortages, instead of crying and demanding action be taken in the General Subform. Good work.

    And good luck. Hope more people see this thread and we can have a discussion about loot, instead of the cryfest that normally takes place.

    Thank you for the comment. I agree that there is too much complaining and not enough discussion of solutions. Supercell seems very happy with the way things currently are and I feel the best chance we have to make an impact is to offer suggestions that are an improvement to the current system.

    I think the most impactful of the ones I listed would be an achievement for upgrading your collectors. If everyone maxed their collectors, we would be in a lot better shape.

    I support all the ideas other than the "Give the next fee to the person you 'next' over"
    all other ideas are needed to make the game more engrossing and interesting.

    The idea for an achievement is great! Not really harming Supercell, as technically it is not making loot any easier, yet it encourages people to upgrade their mines and pumps. Also, giving money to the person you pass over will not add any money into the system, just makes sure the money does not go away, so this is a good idea as well.

    I think SC might like to see some numbers... I like the specific "15%" increase on the collectors, but what about the other ideas?

    How many gems for the upgrades? SC probably wont like too much, but if not enough is offered people may not take it... Whats would be a good middle ground?

    The next amount is obvious...

    League increase? I couldn't imagine anyone complaining about this. How much do you think it should be increased? De available in gold perhaps?

    And the defensive win would be nice. Farmers will scream bloody murder since they believe one must have the townhall out to properly farm, but that idea may change how we approach defense... A game changing idea really. The thing i could think of easily is the league bonus would be a defensive bonus.... Maybe even with a little extra if you defended against a higher lvl th?

    Lets see some numbers and see if we can make this make sense. As I said in my previous post im not hurting for loot, but a bit extra would be awesome. But it would be nothing compared to having a calmer forum again 😜.

    Bonus loot for a defensive win will never happen because of the potential of it being abused. If I wanted, I could drop my BK and surrender on countless attacks giving away "free loot" to all camps that I came by. So with that supercell will never consider that idea, albeit a good idea. When it comes to bonus loot though I've had a suggestion for that myself about increasing and changing it. Increase the bonus loot by a large amount, upwards to 150% of current payout but make earning it somewhat more difficult. Attack win bonus loot should be earned in phases just like stars. You receive 33% of win bonus for 1 star, 66% of win bonus for 2 stars, and 100% of win bonus for all 3 stars. Not only will this add a better gaming experience in my opinion but it will make farming clans suffer more devestating attacks since attackers will no longer get big bonuses just for taking out TH. I've suggested this straight to supercell thinking that it was a great idea and would see it implemented immediately but it's not happened yet. What do you think about that idea.

    Good point. What about adding in a threshold? A defensive win with the attacker getting a minimum of 25% (collectors as a few outside buildings lost, unable to get into walls)? Or even 40% (shield and loot! Makes you want to spend more time in the base layout forum)? Any less than that doesnt get the bonus defense loot, so trophy droppers dont become little clash santas that shower blessings on all...

    If you have a thread about this lets see it! This would make game play much more intense, and those 99% would be a real kick in the plums. I don't think i am sold on the idea tho. I think one of the reasons the original league loot bonuses were set up was to encourage higher lvl ths to go to higher leagues for a bit more loot instead of sitting in low leagues hitting the next button til kingdom come (one of the underling issues OP is referring to). I think the percentage awards would counter this and cause people to care less for loot bonus in the long run because they cant obtain the 3 star unless they attack weaker ths in lower leagues.

    An example I can give now if this was applied: I am a th9 with max troops in crystal 1 right now. I can 2 star most bases, get 3 stars on some. When I go to master 3 its a battle to get 1 star because of tougher opponents (makes me miss the loot bonus from attacking higher players) and my bad army compositions. If the percentages applied, I'd probably be making more total (off the raid and bonus) in crystal 1 than in master3 or higher, so i am basically contained to crystal if i want to progress in upgrades.

    Without the percentages, I have been making a killing in master 3 with the loot bonus helping.

    I just read that a few times and I'm not sure if it makes sense. What do you think?
