Builders: Secondary Assignment & "Attack!" Feature User Seach

I actually have two ideas here within the first within this one thread, one relates to builders and one relates to the “Attack” feature, I’ll discuss them in that order as well.

    Builders: Secondary Assignment

My idea here is heavily motivated by the time it takes to save up resources for each individual build project and the length of time it takes to actually upgrade each building/Defense/etc .

What I am proposing is that while a builder is working on one building (upgrading it not building it) you can assign a builder(s) to upgrade another building/defense after the completion of their current assignment.

This has two significant benefits to all of us; 1) you can keep upgrading production moving forward even when you’re not actually online, 2) it provides a short term ‘protection’ for resources without having a shield.

To further explain the second benefit, basically, you’d have to pay up front for a builders secondary assignment, that would be removed from your resources, one catch could be that you cannot cancel the secondary assignment. This allows you to spend the resources you have and protect yourself raids for a short period of time. I say short period of time because as we know, the higher the level a building or defense is, the longer it takes to complete, so if you’re assigning a secondary build project to a builder, you’re probably looking at all day worth of building and resource collection, so after you assign a secondary build project, your resources will pile up and unless you purchase a shield, there is nothing you would be able to do further, to protect your resources.

Now, some of the limitations I would apply to this idea is that A) the secondary assignment cannot be a new building, it has to be an upgrade. B) One secondary Assignment per day; In other words, even if your upgrade only has 1 hr on it, if you assign a Secondary build project to Builder A, that builder cannot have a secondary assignment attached to him again for 24 hrs. (and the same would go for all of your builders).

    Attack Feature Search

What I’m talking about here is the ability to search by a username when you go into the “Attack” database; enabling you to attack your friends or specific targets. This idea could also be applied to Clan Searches (or maybe a User Search could be added); Another way to do this might be to add an “Attack” button to players’ profiles.

*Assign multiple builders to one build/upgrade
*Upgradeable builders’ huts – lvl 2 huts for a 5% time decrease

One of these relates to the first idea, can you point out which one?

Neither. He is saying that one builder should have multiple assignments, not the other way around.

Neither are ruled out, I did read the sticky. I'm not talkin about assigning multiple builders to one 'project'
, I'm talking about applying multiple projects to one builder, like a'scheduling future work' type of thing.

I also didn't see the 2nd idea listed in "Ruled Out"

IMO it wouldn't change anything from a SC standpoint, the 'demand'/advantage of buying gems would not decrease because by making the 1st suggestion an option, you're not speeding anything up; you are creating a sort of 'shield' over some resources I suppose but with limitations, that could be extremely temporary so it would in no way nullify the purchasable sheilds.

We are talking about the same thing as queueing up troops to train. You are making it so ppl can't steal the resources u put into your troops.
