this has happend to a few of my buildings while upgrading. even thouth it gives you the option to switch modes while its building in war it wont save so it will stay at its defoult mode.

Slightly OT, but I notice that when I look at an xbow on a warbase, it often looks up when actually is set to ground.
I 've just made it a habit of clicking the info button every time I scout.
I had both x-bows in my war edit switch between 'air and ground' & 'air only' once, I thought I was hallucinating. They weren't upgrading, either. Things went back to normal after I killed the app altogether.
Don't judge me.
