Second dark elixir storage

Instead of having to spend resources upgrading my storages (which doesn't help all that much anyway). Why not just make zappers less effective with the measures I've suggested. It's an unfair tactic which requires no skill and It shouldn't be so effective in the first place

You're complaining about spending resources to upgrade it. Getting a new storage wont be free, you know?

What difference does town hall placement make?

more likely a zapper will skip to next base when he can't get the free trophies to continue his journey and climb higher where dark elixir only gets better.

With the most recent update to th7/th8, D.E. is less of a problem for them. As a TH9, I grow weary of th7s zapping my dark elixir when they have no right attacking my base (nearly max defenses). Lightning spells should be used tactfully and tastefully, and zapping storages is neither.

Because these people are two town halls below me, even were I to catch them offline and without a shield, I cannot recoup the loss of D.E. in a revenge.

I know that I could raid more to offset the losses, and 5here are things to do to mitigate this, but when more than half of my defenses are people lightninging my storage, it seems a little broken to me.

Making lightning spells less effective against storages just makes sense. Install a "grounding rod" on our storages, supercell!

They have no right to attack your village? Oh, but you have the right to hang in lower leagues picking on weaker players that have no hope of defending against your attacks, I suppose.
