    Wizard Tower targeting glitch?

Ok I've noticed this a few times now.

My archers have been pinging a building off, just on the edge of a wizard towers range - whilst they're doing this, they are out of range and the wizard tower is not attacking them.

A unit moved to within the range, independent of the archers attacking the other building. Say for the cause of argument, a barbarian. The wizard tower attacks and destroys them.

Now all of a sudden, the archers attacking on the edge of the range are now in range, and the wizard tower attacks them. The archers attacking the other building have not moved, but are now magically in the range of the wizard tower.

Any one else experienced this? I wish I had some video footage to prove it but unfortunately I do not.

I've also noticed Wizard Towers targeting defences that have moved within it's range, then outside of the 7 tile radius... But they continue to attack them.

Never seen those moving defenses before...

But yeah, I've seen wizard towers do the same thing you mention in OP. Sometimes they continue targeting units when they are way outside the wizard tower range.

That's perfectly normal: The wizard towers have some range (7 tiles), to which you have to add a 1 tile splash radius.

This means that while the wizard tower won't directly attack any troups that are farther than 7 tiles away, it can still reach troups up to 8 tiles, by attacking other troups that are 7 tiles away.

That's not what is happening though.

They're out of range to begin with, then as soon as a new target enters the radius and is destroyed, the old troop is now in range. It's as if killing the troop increases the range of the tower.

For me, it happens with cannons and archer towers only. I'm guessing that the buildings aren't exactly centered so when they target troop B, their attack range shifts slightly, enough for them to now start attacking troops A
