Max your defenses and get all your walls at least to purple. Forget about collectors--there's plenty of time to do that at th9.

Wow....where to begin. Id dedicate one builder purely for Teslas. They take a long time, but worth it. A level 6 Tesla will do damage...awesome !

Id max collectors as well. When you have 2 mil in storage and 200k gets looted, your collectors will come close to replacing that.

Wiz towers/mortars. Max asap

Air defenses at least to level 4, five is better.

Walls...purple at minimum. Half purple half skull before going to 9.

Max giant bombs or you're gonna get hogged . Giant bombs means bacon on the table beating a hog attack.

Research EVERYTHING. You may not use that troop now...but you will later. Barrracks to Golem and Pekka...level 2 minimum for both. Dragons and hogs to 3 and all spells.

If you haven't already...max archers, barbs, wizards, giants in that order.

DE drill to 3, King to at least level 5, 10 is better.

You have a ways to go....but that's good. You'll learn new armies, design new defenses, and you haven't killed your base yet.

your walls will make you seem a lot more appealing to other well-upgraded th9s. I'd suggest you work on walls at least until lvl 7 if not 8 and max out the rest of your lab and point defenses.

Why do you not have any gems? you should have saved them until you had all 5 builders.

If you are not realy active ,the 5th builder isn't needed because at the end of th8/9, it's the walls ans the royals who block you.

I suggest you to upgrade all collectors and then to upgrade you Th directly to 10. Doing thins you will have a lot of benefits. Trust me

As others mentioned above, since you are not that active, I suggest to spend the time as TH8 to upgrade/max all your collectors, mines and DE drills.
At the same time, just max other buildings, heroes and walls, where possible.

In my mini account which lives on own resources only, it never attack.
But I can rush to TH10, and still manage to buy 2x inferno, 3x x-bow L2, etc.
At TH10 with 7x mines and elixir each, it's quite good. Also 3x DE Drill L6 in 1 week.

Who said I'm not that active? I'm constantly raiding and upgrading. My builders and lab never stop. The fifth builder is definitely something I need but I haven't been saving like I should. And I'm def not going to th10 rn, lol not an option at all.
