I wanna know how many more days left so that i can think about upgrading drills or boosting them as long as the it ends

Lets just guess that the update is coming out on Monday, it is the first day of the week and we have had to wait all weekend i would highly doubt that they would put it off any longer but than again I have been wrong in the past and I will be wrong again. I really really really don't believe they are going to back it up all the way up to when ios 8 comes out- that just doesn't make sense!

So the true answer is: nobody knows anything basically except for SC that has put up several barricades to protect their information about this update. Hopefully we will all see a exclamation overtop of that gears symbol on Monday

Actually, think about it this way.
1 in 200 of ALL BASES IN CLASH probably boost collectors 24/7
But 20 in 200 probably boost their collectors for one day.

So they make more through 1 gem boosts than normal.

Any longer than monday or tuesday and they probably would have given us a 1 gem for 1 week boost to hold us over until the update. This was to keep us somewhat quiet for not getting the update on Friday like many were expecting. So I'd be surprised if we didn't get it by monday or tuesday.

Let's be real with ourselves here.

No one is buying gems for 1 gem boost specials. There are two types of people boosting right now. 1) Those that buy gems and usually have a few hundred laying around that they use for barracks boosting or until they need something to buy more gems for longer upgrades and 2) those that have a few dozen collected from gem boxes and obstacles, but don't buy gems.

No one woke up on Friday morning and said "Dear mother of God, a 1 gem 1 day collector boost, I need to buy more gems!"

The only times I ever see collectors being boosted is when there's a 1 gem boost special. I think I may have seen ONE base in my roughly 18 months playing that had collectors boosted when there wasn't a 1 gem boost special.
