Thread: War loot bonus doesn't cover my spending

    I think this is the key. the base should have like half of what the bonus is(on top of the bonus). increasing the bonus by %50. then you would have to make a good attack to get all of it. not just 1 star to get the big prize.

    Agreed. I can even go one step further. Every war base should have an available loot similar to whatever the village cap is in the war base storages. So if I can hold 4mil in my village whoever attacks my war base should get whatever the fraction of 4mil is during a regular village raid (based on TH Level I think). The difference would have to be that once the loot is taken it is gone (similar to the goblin maps) otherwise everyone would just try to farm the top guys. I can pretty much guarantee no one would be complaining about clan war not being worth it in that case. I don't like rewarding losers either but you're not really a loser if you can find a way to steal what you want. War win bonus plus a percentage of the village cap would be quite a bit more enticing and a lot more clans would jump back on the "war all the time" mindset. It wouldn't hurt anyone because war loot already just comes from the SC ether anyway. If they want people to stop complaining about clan war I'm pretty sure that would do it.

    the small amount of loot in the war attack is for how much u can loot during the attack, the war loot for the win - IMO the mechanics are fine the way they are - u just need to create your strategy around it. we're a very active warring clan, everyone uses their first attack to get the most stars as they can. usually that will win you the war and everyone can use their second attack for loot. if the enemy clan is catching up most high/mid level players will just do filler attacks to increase the gap and securing the win - allowing lower level players to use second attack for loot.

    yes its demoralizing when you loose, as it should be - YOU JUST LOST!! making it important to try harder on the next war. to win war after war you need good clan communication and respect for each other, clan war is after all a team event.

    people will still farm the top players for their available loot. clan war attacks are about stars, thus storages, mines and pumps are empty, allowing you to use them as distractions and high HP walls to make units spend time before they make it to your TH. keeping them filled up with will make people attack for loot and not stars.

    So one loot grab every 48 hours at the least? Might as well just farm. I would still want to win the war bonus..you're already in the war..more loot is better
