Who cares who trys it out first, we'll all experience it at some point
There are a fews guesses going around the forums.
Monday - Most people think it will be out tomorrow due to the 1 gem boost ending today
Tuesday - Daddy thinks It might be out Tuesday, so do I and a few other people
Thursday - Could be released Thursday because IOS 8 released on Wednesday, So Apple might have wanted SuperCell to delay the release until the release of IOS 8.
Walls matter for high level game play, specifically the 4kers and not being three starred in cw. If you aren't part of the above, then walls are more for aesthetic reasons.

While high-level walls are important to have in the higher cup range and in Clanwars to prevent being three-starred, good walls are also important in day-to-day farming situations.
If someone comes along with a Barch army, those barbarians can easily get through a lvl 7 wall compared to a lvl 9-11 and more storages (loot) could be taken or a few more buildings could be destroyed giving them a one-star win.
Same with a giant farming combo... the giants and wbs (followed by the barbs and BK) can get into more compartments with lower lvl walls than if you had lvl 9-11.
Whenever I'm searching for bases to attack, lower level walls is always part of the calculation as to whether or not I attack. A base with lvl 7 (or even lvl 6!!!) walls is far easier to tear through than a base with the same defences but with walls at lvl 9+.
