Is it so hard for the mods to condense the important posts, those by the supercell employees and those by mods, into the first post in order to prevent the mindless posting that is cluttering what could be a productive thread?

Take the post by twister, those by steve, those by zach, etc and put them in the OP, then add to the title "(READ FIRST POST BEFORE POSTING)"

This sort of moderating occurs on many other forums, and helps to prevent threads from going through cycles of stupid questions followed by explanations by those who know things.

Pretty much - on paper it was supposed to be out Thursday. The Apple event this week has everything backlogged for approvals.



Didn't get rejected, just isn't approved yet. Based on 2 years of history, once it is submitted for approval, it is usually pretty predictable when Apple will approve it. Then it sits in the Dev account waiting for SC to hit the release button. A little planning has to be done now that we're also on the android platform to take down the servers and release both versions at the same time (although the Google Play release is much easier).

It simply boils down to Apple's event has things backlogged and Apple's part is taking a bit longer.

Over the last 2 years, there have been a few times it took an extra few days beyond forecast, and a couple where it was delayed a day. We do try to time the sneak peeks to end with a release, now and then we have to separate a few we had planned to be released together separately for an extra day. This is just one of those times it took longer than expected.

SC is still in the debateable amount submitted by Apple regarding the refunds that occured after the hero nerf. Lawyers on both teams were working hard for a resolution. It was very clear that Both teams are now in their 'Positive final agreements' when 'Sneak Peeks' was announced.
