I'm confused, how will this affect the economy? Yes people won't be sitting on 8mil lix, but people will also not just target the gold storages to get billions of gold to do their walls. Doesn't that mean it'll balance out more?
Also the people with lvl10 or 11 walls, the picture painted is that there millions of elixir available but no gold. How did you manage to farm your walls then? We know it takes an ungodly amount of gold to do that.

I'm not saying it's the most brilliant update ever and I get why the people with 8b gg are upset, but I don't think it'll spell the end of the world. And I still think the player with a th10 and pink walls will not put millions of elixir into the walls either, so I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make.

Ok i consider myself a pretty casual player, however i have been playing for almost 2 yrs so I am almost maxed th10. I have 2 spells left to upgrade so 1 month to no elixir upgrades and maybe 2-3 months to be completely maxed on defences. After I reach that point give me one reason why I would ever log off with any gold or elixir in my storages? I can tell you right now i am not stupid so the answer is I wont be logging off with any loot whatsoever. If I can reach that point as a casual player how many others are there already? This update may not affect the lower level players too badly but I am afraid Masters is going to become an even worse wasteland than it has been the last few weeks.

I have farmed all Lava walls, and 40% Zap walls.

And I think I'm OK with this.

I understand the frustration... There is no recognition for walls done when it was "harder" (gold only) I do innately feel mad that my accomplishments are now slightly less substantial.

But that's life. If you only did things to get recognition you'd be unfulfilled most of the time. I'm happy that I did my walls when I did. MAXED at th9 baby! I'm happy that I've got a 2 bil gold grab, and someday soon will have all LVL 11 walls.

I am also happy for the people who will soon get an opportunity to max walls at th8-th9 easier than before! It is so fulfilling to upgrade EVERYTHING and not have a single upgrade button anywhere. I wish for everyone to reach this profound accomplishment, whether its easier now or not.

we are in the same boat...almost exactly..i also maxed my th9 100% including heroes and walls... My zaps are a little over half done...

I do not plan on stopping to play clash, I'm just very dissapointed... Maybe I need to have a more optimistic outlook, but, I'm finding it hard at the moment

Uhm...if you don't know how to manage resources in a game than how do you survive in the real world? You don't think people are gonna keep at least 500k-1m elixer on hand for wars/donations? Common sense will prevail.

There's a key difference between managing resources in game and in real life which is that going bankrupt in a game won't kill you so people can spend resources in a way they find most fun. Besides if you really want to manage your resources, you'd hide behind your clanmates and not donate or avoid walls since people generally lose more elixir than they gain in wars, unless they go for cheap armies

Besides, I said that people won't want to donate anymore, not that they aren't able to donate anymore. Seems like your common sense needs some work

I understand that some hardcore wall farmers are upset, and I am in no position to say there is a reason they shouldn't be.

But loot changes ARE practically confirmed. SC knows that they need to change the loot system after a huge change like this. It will make wall farming completely different.

I'm still going to upgrade walls with gold and be happy if I get all skull walls. I rather be happy for earning those walls the hard way than the easy way.

In the end it still involves farming, walls are not going to magically upgrade themselves. Be satisfied you will have upgraded walls, even though it's not the way you wanted it to be.

Unless SC address the economy with more levels on collectors etc.

Expect troop donations to suffer
Expect clan wars to suffer aka lesser troop quality/cheaper armies/more leeching
Expect longer time next'ing for decent loot
Expect tougher bases to crack with upgraded walls
Expect Elixir storages to be deeper in bases requiring stronger/costly armies to get at
