Perhaps, but I guess perhaps SC has more faith in their user base than their user base deserves.

It's fairly obvious something happened. Honestly it doesn't really matter what. It's great Twister said something, but either way it won't make the update occur any faster.

All you're doing by complaining is lowering the chance they will do future sneak peaks.

Still they haven't released a hard date of release. So nothing to apologize about.

Reasonable people use their brains and infer the information you seek. "Hmm the update isn't out yet....must be a good reason". That was my thought process. The 1 gem boost is a fantastic consolation prize.

as a th9.... who has farmed all legos, and 5 lavas (but put off wall farming til update)

i'm upset the option for elixir building walls, wasnt there for me, however it is 1,000 times better than simply reducing the price as many had initially thought.

also i happen to be looning to champs .... (currently at 3099)
i'm racing to champs as fast as possible elix choking is a very real thing, and that is a negative affect that PROBABLY will happen, making looning not as profitable.. ofc with the addition of the hot dog, which is 30 spaces, i imagine 2 of those babies will help offset the elixir usage...

also new lvl archer towers im sure are only coming out to have that def with the graphic of the new max lvl archers, im sure the dmg may be more, but the hp on the building itself shouldnt be bumped that much i'd imagine at MOST 1 drop plus death dmg from 2 loons will do the trick.... which still works since iono how u loon, but when i do it, i don't just send 1 loon to take an archer tower O_O so yea, 1 loon dies upon arrival, 1 loon drops the goodies, then dies, and problem solved...

BUT it is a threat to th9's like myself, as well as more stuff for u to do @10.

....also i fail to see why a th9 who is a good way though th9, can't respond and take part in this discussion...

As I commented, I expect a great Update but, the great update did not arrive.

I think that the following update after this, is not going to arrive on time before the massive migration of the top player to other games due the actual boring situation.

If I’m wrong and this update was “The Update” considered by the players, I will print my comment and eat with an American Coffee.

let me help you, i'm a registered apple developer that submits updates commonly.... apple takes up to 12 days to approve an update.... BUT.... you can actually have it pre-approved and then choose when you want to release it. So it very unlikely the hold up is from Apple. As for google, that's not even a concern... Google updates are like 30 minutes after submitting. Most likely, they are working out some things and letting hype build. Patience is a huge part of this game, show a little now. Quality over speed always.

You are pretty close.

The SC games being at the "Top" usually gets a bit faster treatment from Apple. As you said, Google Play is almost instant - I don't remember Google ever delaying things.

The SC games are typically 5-7 days after they are submitted for approval. Then as you said, Apple approves them, but they aren't automatically released to the public, it just sits in the Developer account waiting for an SC person to push the button (timed with a server maintenance to upgrade the servers).

Typically if we forecast an update release on a Thursday, the app was submitted to Apple for approval the previous week, usually say Tuesday-Wednesday time frame. Then typically it takes Apple a week to approve it, and we start running the sneak peeks even before it's approved. If all had gone as planned, Apple would have approved it on Tuesday or Wednesday for our Thursday release. But... as I said, the apple event has things a bit jammed up right now.

I'm sorry that you understood that from the thread, but I clearly stated that I wanted everyone's opinion, and that everything I said applied equally to well upgraded TH9s.

But that aside, I agree with what you've said. Thanks for replying!
