Anyone know what the purpose is for them not just saying when it's out? What do they get out of it?

A lot of hype and people constantly logging on and checking, posting comments everywhere about it like the OP is doing.

Because they hear enough complaining as it is and if they gave a release date, then had to delay it to make some final adjustments, they would just hear more complaining about how they can't keep their word. Be patient people.

The update needs to be approved by Apple and google plus. Blame the last update on increased scrutiny. Smh.

Isnt it always the update a week or so after the sneak peeks?

that was my understanding anyway.

Atleast with the updates dating back from Jan 2014 they have always released the update a day or two after.

They actually don't know when it will be released. Rather than promise something and have to change the date, they just say nothing.

They create a massive hype bubble for the update and then just pop it? You could have atleast held on to those sneak peeks till next week if you knew you wouldnt realease it this week. Im really un-hyped right now -_-

Seriously though. They probably thought they'd have the update rolled out by now. Sometime didn't go as planed, so they have us something to tide us over.


They could of just say, suck it up, we got more work to do....
